My mother never saw Dr Cheng as she had a 2 month wait for the consult. She did review records and call me - she suggested that a 12 week wait before surgery (because blood clots), chemo prior to surgery and PMH would complicate surgery. She also thought the tumor was stage 4 because of fluid in the lungs. Saw provider in Chicago the day after I called for consult. He scheduled surgery in 2 weeks, but a blood clot filter in, recovery from surgery for 4 weeks, then chemo. Cancer was stage 1. Dr. Cheng caused our family to fear that my mom's cancer was end stage. Nothing she advised or thought about the case was correct. She is too busy doing research to provided accurate patient care.
