Dr. Von Pechmann performed my laparoscopic hysterectomy/pelvic reconstruction 2 months ago. My recovery has been flawless. He was caring, kind, sensitive and very professional from the first office appointment a few years ago thru surgery and the follow-up. His surgery team at Fairfax Hospital are top notch. They work with him on all his surgeries. His office staff are also very pleasant, caring and efficient. I am so relieved to have the surgery behind me and I highly recommend his practice to anyone suffering from gynecological issues. Don’t hesitate to have a consult with him. I know he will treat you as if you are his only patient.

Dr. Von Pechmann is an excellent surgeon; he is very kind, easy to talk to and very approachable when you have questions. His office is extremely well run: friendly courteous staff, pre-printed information on what to expect for all procedures, highly efficient and organized, and making all future-needed appointments well in advance. This is by far the best doctor's office I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend.

Lucky to have been referred to him. An excellent, caring and friendly doc. ran around from one doctor to another, for a year, to figure out what was wrong with me. One visit & he diagnosed me by listing to my history of issues. All is resolved now thanks to his surgical skills and knowledge.. amazing doc!!!!

Dr. Von Pechmann is an incredible physician and surgeon. A perfect balance of skill, knowledge & empathy for his patients. He recently performed a particularly difficult reconstructive surgery to repair a vaginal prolapse, cyctocyle, rectocyle & enterocyle. It was problematic for years & required repair. Large babies, chronic infection, chronic constipation, back pain, Lupus & blood thinner were complicating factors for me. He and I spent 3 yrs. evaluating w/me. I’m forever grateful. Blessed.

Dr Von Pechmann explains all aspects of surgery and recovery as well as alternate non surgical treatments. His staff is gentle and well prepared for the tests they administer. Dr Von Pechman is reassuring during exams and exceedingly gentle.

I saw Dr. Von Pechmann about 15 years ago in Indianapolis, Indiana. He did a very large surgery on me at Methodist Hospital. He has always been one of my favorite doctors and I'm pleasantly surprised that he is now here in Virginia. I would always recommend him to anyone.

I felt a lack of care and interest in treating me as a patient. I waited several months to receive the first visit and the doctor seemed very disinterested in treating my chronic urologic condition. Would not recommend.

Dr. von Pechmann is an excellent physician & surgeon. He is humble (unusual for a surgeon) kind, considerate, respectful, & well trained. My surgical consultation (held on 3rd visit) was in his consultation room (office, not exam room) where he gave me ample time to ask questions, & express my opinions. He took the time to go over my major surgery in detail. Not too many physicians these days use their consultation rooms (office) for patients. I am doing Very well postoperatively!
