Dr. Matthews is by far one the the best pediatrician and pediatric-pulmonologists in the country and Hawaii is lucky to have him. He was my the pediatrician for all four of my kids and is the reason my asthmatic son was able to thrive. He can be gruff, but only if YOU are stubborn and don't listen. His bedside manner with the kids is wonderful and he could always get a laugh out of mine on their worst days. He fights for kids, what more could you ask for?
