Dr. Walid Omar, MD

I took my daughter to Dr Omar for the first time today and we were both very impressed. Moved here 5 years ago and was at the point of giving up on a good Dr so needless to say we are very pleased.

Out of all my doctors Dr Omar is always there for me, he is very direct & knowledgeable & has helped me beyond measure. Ten stars

I went and still going to Dr. Omar for weight loss program the doctor listened to me and helped educate me on food and what I should do , I loss 47 pounds in the 3 months .

As a new patient it was a very nice surprise that Dr. Omar spent so much time with me asking me questions and listening to the answers. I feel like I'm in really good hands with him.

Dr. Omar has saved our lives! He took the time to do all diagnostic testing, find any diffencies and then treat us! How refreshing it is to also be given diet education and not just more medication to treat symptoms! His receptionist is incredibly calm and kind (and actually answers the phone!) I have had all my family switch to this office! I only wish the late/ missed apt fee was more flexible, but I understand it.

Dr Omar, and his right hand staff specialist, Evette are amazing and do a great job. Doc managed me through tough medical times, and was right on with his assessment, and referral. I am now recovered from surgery, and his efforts were critical to get me better. I have been a patient with Doc Omar for about 10 years, and he has ALWAYS put me first in his efforts. He puts his patients first. Strong Doc!

Dr Omar and his staff are excellent. I have been going to him now for 2 months for weight loss and I am so pleased with my overall appearance. Over 23 pounds so far. Appts are very easy to get and they work with you to get you in and out if you have a busy schedule. I’m half way within my goal and hope to continue and maintain my new lifestyle. I highly recommend this practice.

I drive 40 mins to come see Dr. Omar, I like that I never wait more than 5 to 10 to see Dr Omar. He always takes the time to talk and answer my questions. I think he’s a good doctor and he doesn’t sugar code anything. He tells you like it is and I like that.

Promises home visits but will not provide them. Makes his money on B-12 and other vitamin shots. Most often not necessary.

I concur with several of the reviews here in stating that he is in it solely for the financial aspect. He does push his injections, and also tries to solicit for "specialized care"- meaning you pay $12k a year to have him as an "on call" Physician who makes house calls. I have medical insurance, I don't need this. I find his opinion on several things very narrow minded, he is cynical of natural medicinal marijuana, and got extremely "narrative" actually said a profanity regarding Doctors who practice this. I have found him to be not pleasant and quite frankly a bit rude. I am an educated person and consider myself intelligent. There are better Doctors out there. The comment about refilling prescriptions is true, and he mandates visits (even for a well person) at least every other month.

I was referred to Dr. Omar for a weight loss plan from a friend 5 months ago, glad I went. He has given me some great tips which in turn has helped me to loose weight. He is very nice and gave me praise on several visits which made me more motivated to loose weight & stay healthy. As a nurse & his patient I recommend anyone wanting to loose weight to visit this office. Dr. Omar cares, is encouraging & very knowledgeable. He has a variety of services to offer & his office team is awesome too!

This doctor is only in it for the money. Will not renew my ongoing prescriptions unless I make an appointment every 3 months, even if I am not sick. No other doctor has ever done this. He also tries to push vitamin injections, which is very awkward. He has also talked bad about other doctors and methods. His demeanor is also cold and pushy. There is no real medical care here. Just pushing patients through for the insurance money.

Insurance paid for ov over 2years ago. Now Dr's office saying Ins wants money back, so I'm being sent to collections because they say i have to pay, and my son has ins. I asked for a professional courtesy right off , since I work for a doctor and dr. Omar himself refused..this bill is under $100 No professional courtsey!

Dr. Omar is wonderful, I have to say in just 2 months time I dropped my weight 22lbs. I followed exactly what he said. I feel so much healthier, wish I would have taken a before and after picture. My mother and sister have switched over to Dr. Omar as well and are very happy. The staff are so friendly, you will not be disappointed. Dr. Omar listens to everything you have to say, If you are looking to get things done right, he is the Doctor to go to. I am very happy with Dr. Omar. :-)

Dr. Omar is an excellent primary care physician. I have been seeing him for years and, in fact, followed him from his last look cation. He gives you all the time you need. He is thorough and professional. He not only covers the issue that brought you n, he also goes over your past records to see if past issues are properly resolved. You can't do better.

The staff here is amazing! We started coming here 7 months ago when my son was ill. Dr. Omar started to work on the problem right away. He wasted no time finding out what was wrong and worked aggressively to make my son healthy again. Now all three of my sons are getting care here and we are so pleased with the results. Thank you Dr. Omar and your wonderful staff for your dedication to your patients and their families. We hope to be with your office for a very long time.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Dr Omar takes the time to explain things, ask questions, and I never feel rushed at my appointments. Have also finally had success at weight loss thanks to Dr. Omar, and am feeling more energized and well than in a long time!

Dr. Omar is great!! You have a problem and Dr Omar will have a solution. Dr Omar also specializes in weight loss just another good reason to visit the doctor. Would recommend Dr Omar to family, friends, co-workers, basically anybody that needs a great doctor Dr Omar is that doctor. Dr Omar and staff are great!!!
