Dr. Avello was the only doctor to solve my lower abdomen pain I had been experiencing for nearly 10 years and I had seen several other specialists prior. Most recently I had a colonoscopy/endoscopy performed by Dr. Avello. He again gave me information and likely causes of my pain I had not received from other doctors. He has given me hope that my upper right abdomen pain will be resolved. Both Dr.Avello and all St. Luke's staff were informative, personable and willing to listen. Excellent!

Recent colonoscopy....he was over an hour late for the procedure and said nothing to me when he finally showed up. He gave me no information after the procedure, nor did the staff at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, Mn. It is now two weeks later and I have yet to receive any information from him or his office. I filed a complaint with St. Luke's with no follow up from them.
