My daughter has a rare condition and she was going to have an endoscopy to rule out other additional conditions. This doctor walked into the room with my daughter present and started yelling about doing the procedure and that her problem has nothing to do with her preexisting condition. (Please note that the Baystate Pediatric Surgical team said that her acute situation was connected to her preexisting condition.) This doctor continued to verbally attack my husband and I as patients could hear because the sliding glass door was left open. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said that he was the supervisor. I question the safety of the entire department as you can clearly see he is aggressive and above policies. What is Baystate’s “code of conduct” policy? My husband and I waited for the Baystate Relations department to speak with us and no one came. I will call Monday morning because this unacceptable. I am disgusted.

Horrible
My daughter has a condition that has very clear side effects, from the beginning of the appointment you felt the air shift. He stated those were not side effects, of her disorder. But my daughter was put on medication to help subside them which has worked. He was not professional and gave his personal opinion on matters which was very inappropriate. After visit nutritionist even apologized. Made my daughter cry. Student nurse came in asked if she was ok. No she was not. I certainly will not ever bring my child back to see him.

The Dr was clearly not interested in seeing my son. He only saw him because we had been in the ER and the PCP made the case. He was condesending and rude and barely talked to my [...] son. He basically said - you need to go back to school and not think about the pain you are in. My son was in extreme gastric pain, expecially at night and not able to sleep due to multiple antibiotics. He only perscribed the anticramping medicine when I pushed that he wasn't ablet to sleep. When we left the office. My sweet and respectful son stated: "he was not nice, and that is the reason I want to be a doctor because NO KID should ever be treated that way when they are sick." He wants to be a doctor and that experience made him realize not all doctors are kind and listen. It was the worst appointment I have even been too!

Misdiagnosed purposefully
My daughter was admitted inpatient for a chronic condition that needed treatment. This doctor came in and changed her diagnosis without testing to confirm, contradicting her first set of imaging, and contradicting the radiologist. He was dismissive and rude to us as parents, and my child. We were discharged by his instruction. We knew our child needed further care and brought our child to Boston Childrens hospital where she was admitted with her team and the initial diagnosis was confirmed and treated. It’s frightening to think that this type of purposeful misdiagnosis is being allowed.

Doctor was extremely dismissive and cold. He was unresponsive to exploring the cause of the issue my son continues to struggle with. The referral was not applicable to medical issues. The discharge notes don't match what he sent the PCP, and he refused to prescribe a medication that he recommended on the discharge paperwork. I already have a new referral elsewhere and will spread the word not to see this doctor. After a follow up with the PCP, it is apparent that many doctors at the practice are aware of this doctor's poor bedside manner.
