Very Disappointed
Very disappointed. This doctor was highly recommended by my coworker and sister. Since December 2023 I made sure to change my daughter's insurance and get referral for my daughter to be seen, I emailed all necessary information in order to get the appointment which was set. I called the day before the appointment to confirm and was told the appointment was cancelled, did not receive a cancellation call because of missing referral. Mind you the office does not set up appointments without referrals. Spoke to Salome, which was not able to give me a concrete response as to why it was cancelled when I emailed referral and appointment was set. I asked to speak to office manager and was told that the person in charge is the doctor. My daughter has not seen her asthma doctor since November in hopes to start seeing the 'highly' recommended Dr. Trujillo. Can't leave review on doctor's performance but I can tell you that the office operates in an incompetent way.

We met Dr. H-T, over 10 years ago, as our child was recovering from anaphylaxis. We trust her wholeheartedly. Her level of professionalism and her warm heart is one of a kind. We know we are in the best hands. It is refreshing to see her take the time to train so many up and coming young doctors. There is always a fellow or two in her office. I look forward to giving them our story as I trust they will help many other families like ours. Hopefully these younger medical professionals will follow her footsteps. She is patient and understanding. Her passion and dedication is evident through her knowledge and research. She takes the time to listen and explain everything to the parent and the child. This may sometimes delay our wait time, we know she is helping another family, and we’ll have our time too. You will feel her compassion and empathy from the very first time you meet with her. While we pray our child outgrows his allergies, we plan to remain with Dr. H-T regardless.

Dr. Hernandez Trujillo is one of a kind! It’s obvious that she loves her job and treats her patients as if they are her own children. She is knowledgeable in the field and always researching the latest findings. We first met her when our son had an allergic reaction to eggs as a baby and have been with her for over 5 years. She is patient and loving and really takes the time to get to know the families she interacts with. She always does what’s best for the patient and works to help each child live with and hopefully outgrow their allergic reactions. I would highly recommend her and her office to anyone.

Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo is one of the most compassionate physicians I have ever seen. My son has terrible eczema and suspected food allergy. She took her time to go through every part of his history and addressed all my concerns with me. I never felt rushed or like she needed to finish to go on to the next patient. I have recommended her to several family members and they have had the same great experience that I had. The staff is also very polite and approachable.

Wait time is over an hour long. Medical residents attend to the child vs the allergist . When you make your appointment to see the Dr. she has a resident/fellow assess the child. She comes in after the resident has a led questions and done her assessment. I think the office should warn parents before making and appointment.

Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo is one of the most thorough, compassionate, and approachable doctors I have ever met. She takes time to sit down with me to discuss my daughter's symptoms, explore all possible causes, and develop a plan that works for her unique situation. She listens to and trusts her patients'/their parents' judgment and wholeheartedly believes in a mother's intuition. I can't say enough good things about her. The world needs more doctors (and human beings) like Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo!

We are so grateful to have found Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo. Her care is second to none. Our two daughters have multiple food allergies. Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo has provided us with all the information necessary to understand our allergies, how to manage them, to recognize symptoms of anaphylaxis and how to treat reactions with epinephrine. She is very knowledgeable about all the latest research, and takes her time to sit with her patients (and parents) to answer any questions we may have.
