Dr. Vivaik Tyagi, MD

The procedure went well & all the ladies were super nice. After my procedure I had to wait for the Dr to come out along with 3 other patient. He told me to call the number on card @ book a follow up in 3 weeks I have called 3x @ no response & tomorrow is 3 weeks since I had colonoscopy. Why ia there no response from the office to book a follow up. This is beer frustrating for me. can someone please call me back & set this up I had the same problem making the intial appt that I came to the Institute and did it myself. Thank you how to have a return call tomorrow

My appt. was at 9:15, was told to arrive at 9am, my wife had to take off work today in order to be my driver. I also had to take off work. We live a hour away in Tehachapi. I waited 3.5 hours before I was finally called in. I then waited another hour. I went up to front counter multiple times to ask what was going on and was told Dr Tyagi was way behind. When I get back In operating room everyone was extremely nice and apologetic but that honestly changes nothing. I will never return to this facility and honestly I will probably not use dr tyagi again unless you guys actually do something about this incident as this was the most unprofessional disorganized experience in health care I have to date. In preparation for the procedure I had not eaten since Tuesday night. I was dehydrated and not allowed to have anything to drink prior to my appointment time. The staff in the front seemed to not care at all about the condition I was in while waiting. This is completely unacceptable treatment

All was well with the procedure but had to wait over an hour and half to see the Doctor so he could release me. I was hungry and unhappy to have to wait so long. Seeing so many others coming in from surgery and leaving while I continued to sit and wait.

Dr. Tyagi was very thorough and professional. I had no problems with the prep or procedure. I would highly recommend him.

I had Mabel rush me off the bed as soon as I woke up. Made me sit on an uncomfortable chair for 20 minutes with no water cause she took it away. She was non empathetic.

I got to my appointment early. I was all set in pre op. I went through an entire IV bag before even being rolled into procedure room. Now I am having the same experiences I had last night preparing for my colonoscopy. I’m sitting on the toilet. I was over hydrated. 500 ml Someone came in 30 minutes after me and was treated before me. After procedure I waited 20 minutes for dr to release me. Again needing toilet time. All dr said was we will go over everything when we meet for post op. Debriefing. Everyone was nice but lots of time spent waiting. Last time I was there Dr didn’t meet with me post op. And now I’m sitting on the toilet writing this.

Everyone one was very kind and professional, they made me feel very comfortable and respected, much blessings to the staff, everyone one moved so smoothly. Thank you, I got a call to follow up on how I was feeling this morning, just awesome.

Dr. Tyagi and his staff are by far one of the most caring and nicest Dr's in the entire Antelope Valley. I highly recommend him and his staff to everybody.

Beware of this doctor. I wish there was a rating of less than 20. I have a compromised immune system, R/A-Lupus, having problem with solid food due to choking with horrendous pain following an auto accident, but this quack with tunnel vision, along with other so called specialists was determined I had heartburn even though I told him I did not or ever had a problem with it. I had it a couple of times when I was young due to drinking too much, so know what it feels like. He had me take three different kinds of PPI's for over a year in order to stretch my esophagus, and I took them in desperation. I now have total collapsed muscles, my calves are collapsed, I have lost 25lbs just this last year. I decided to do a thorough check of these meds. as these horrible symptoms did not match the Lupus, and found they are due to these experimental to say the least meds. Not supposed to take for these long periods of time, and not as prescribed. Do they send the losers to Lancaster?

quite friendly, and knowledgeable. Gave me clear information and guidelines. Scheduled a procedure for me, which was performed quickly with a friendly staff. His care information included diet as well as a followup appointment.

He has done an excellent job for me and I would not be here if not for him

I have been Dr, Tyagi's patient for years and have known him to be an excellent doctor. He is always gracious, polite and professional. He has done several procedures for me and has always explained what is to be done and he checks on me after the procedure. I have several gastro issues and I trust him to take care of me. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. He really cares about his patients.

I had an appt at 1pm with Dr. Tyagi in Tehachapi and was told to arrive at 12:30pm to fill out papers, which I did, but the doctor and his staff were not there. There were 2 patients already in the waiting room and 2 more arrived after me and we discovered that we were all scheduled for 1pm. Finally at 1pm, the doctor and his staff arrived and handed out the papers for us to fill out then took us back in the order we arrived. I finally saw the doctor at 2:20pm and he spent 5 minutes with me.

Dr vivaik tyagi is one of the best Dr's I've been to cares very much for his patients illnesses and very good listener when patients have concerns very friendly and putake his compassion and heart into his career dr tyagi your the best

Dr. Tyagi is nice, but do not trust his office person! She gave my appointment to someone else two minutes after I left, after telling me I had 24 hours to get a driver lined up for my surgery day. I called and left her voicemails twice, but she never bothered to call back. My daughters had taken the day off work and booked a hotel in Lancaster ( non- refundable) to be with me. I'm not happy!

This group is friendly and informative. Dr. Tyagi works to provide as much information as you need for your visit (s). I trust his judgement and ability. Dr. Tyagi improved my quality of life.
