Dr. Virginia Cody, MD

This doctor was the most unfriendliest and uncaring individual I have ever come across. My severely autistic and nonverbal son had an appointment with her. When I say this doctor never greeted him, made eye contact with him, or really even acknowledged him, you have to believe me. All she did was keep her head down and type on her laptop, which I know many doctors now do this, but at least they make consistent eye contact with the patient, but not this woman. I will never forget what the top of her head looked like, because that’s all I saw. I obviously realize that not everyone is warm and fuzzy, but come on doc, you really should have tried harder.

I searched for a primary extensively and found Dr. Cody. I have never had a kinder, more attentive doctor. I feel like I’m visiting a friend.

I found Dr Cody last year after much research. I am a T1D and have had trouble finding a PCP who even had a clue about the condition in this area. I have a great Endocrinologist up at Yale, I just couldn't find anyone local as a PCP that didn't immediately set off red flags. Dr. Cody is sharp as a tack and extremely caring, I don't have a worry that she'll let something slip or misdiagnose or throw antibiotics at problems unrelated. My father was a doctor growing up, so I feel like I have a sixth sense for these things! :)

Our physician for over 18 years, whom we absolutely adored, retired last year. My husband and I looked for recommendations via Healthgrades, and Dr. Cody seemed like a good match. First meeting with Dr. Cody (with both of us!!) went better than we could have hoped. She was very thorough and insightful, and we were very encouraged. My husband had his first physical with her, and he was very happy with how it went. Mine is coming up in a few weeks. Every time we have called about something, she or her staff have been very responsive.

So down to earth and approachable! I feel so comfortable with Dr. Cody.

Dr. Cody is the best doctor I have ever had. She displays extreme empathy with her patients at all times, and is very approachable with any questions or concerns. She is never condescending and treats every person with respect and dignity. She is very accommodating and approachable with her patients as well. She has a great sense of humor and is very helpful with any concerns or issues. She also gives high-quality care to all her clients, and ensures all of their needs are met. If I could give her higher than 5 stars, I would! Highly recommend.

Very attentive to my concerns or condition. Very thorough with history and makes appropriate referrals. Also, friendly with a good sense of humor.

Dr Cody is awesome, knowledgeable and very compassionate. She takes time to truly help her patients and is attentive to details. A real gem in the world of doctors.

Super Dr. great bedside manner. Asks all the right questions, listens intently to the answers and makes decisions based on the patient. I have been very happy with Dr. Cody and you will be too.

Dr. Cody is very congenial and respectful. She wants to solve your medical issues and not just treat them. Thank you Dr. Cody.
