First visit was great. Dr Virgil seemed very in tune and understood the severity of my husbands diagnosis. Was on top of getting more tests done and into pulmonary rehab to prep him for lung valve surgery.Second visit was horrible! It was like he didn’t remember anything he had said or done on first visit. Stated that should start pulmonary rehab- which he had already started him on, said he wasn’t eligible for surgery because of numbers on a chart. WHAT? People aren’t numbers and conditions can be worse than a chart graph. He looked at my husband who has Stage 3 COPD GOLD D, and said, “well, you just aren’t that sick..I usually see patients near transplant status.”Didn’t answer my questions directly and left the room. Like a total 360!Prescribed prednisone and stomach pill. Went to pick up and the dosage wasn’t as he said in office and there was NO stomach pill.We will NOT be going back to him. I feel he needs to take consideration and address his quality of care to patients.

Exemplary physcian
Absolutely thorough in his explanation of my condition and treatment available. Listens well and takes a cautious approach to avoid over medication or treatment.
