Dr. Mehta was calm and informative, but not patronizing, when discussing scar and infection prevention, recovery, and corrective measures in healing from an eyebrow/lid laceration that required two series of stitches. He was very helpful in answering questions with the underlying rationale and very reassuring in describing a plan A/plan B approach to ease my anxiety about huge, permanent facial scarring. I had upper and lower blepharoplasty with Dr. Mehta. I had hooded eye and hollow tear ducts. I chose Dr. Mehta based on referral, the fact he is an oculoplastics dr. and his process, which doesn't stop at surgery. PROCESS: 1. Consultation A+ Dr. Mehta explained exactly what he was going to do and what I needed to do in order to get the best results, which does not stop at surgery. 2. Surgery/After Care. A+ I was bruised, I had holders on my face where Dr. Mehta moved fat to fill tear hollows, and looked horrible. No pain. This was my 1st cosmetic surgery experience & I needed a lot of hand holding. Dr. Mehta gets an A+++ in hand holding. He responded to every concern w/NO EGO, and everything he said was going to work out -- WORKED OUT PERFECTLY. 3. Lasers/Jan Marini. A+ I had 3 laser treatments and switched to Jan Marini. 4. Results: A+. I do not look like I have had surgery, but like I've had 15 years erased from my face. My skin is luminous.
