I'm someone who neglected their health and didn't feel comfortable going to doctors. Months ago, I ended up in the ER with some very scary symptoms. No one in the ER could tell me what happened to me and chalked it off to anxiety. I have a prior mental health diagnosis, so most doctors were very biased and kept telling me my symptoms were imagined, despite several abnormal test results and the symptoms persisting for a long time. I was really scared no one would be able to help me. I wrote up a 100 page extensive medical history and brought it to Dr. Henein. They took copies and read it all without even blinking an eye. Dr. Henein did not judge me based on my prior diagnosis. She took into consideration my whole history, my current symptoms, and all of my test results and was able to successfully diagnose my Lupus/Sjogren's and get me on the proper treatment for it. My quality of life has changed for the better in such a short period of time and I never thought I'd feel like a brand new person from my treatment. Dr. Henein and her staff have changed my life and I would recommend anyone needing a Rheumatologist to go here. Dr. Henein WILL HELP YOU if you give her the chance to. She will make you feel comfortable and like a part of her family. She listens, she believes her patients, she treats her patients effectively and she CARES about your wellbeing!

I have been going to Dr. Henein for well over fifteen years and if not for her, I would have had to end my career short. I am able to do the work I love. I've been to others that just don't listen and broom me off with useless testing. Dr. Henein is a good listener and never treated me wrong. With many bad days as well as good ones, Dr. Henein has never let me down. Thank You Dr. Henein. Yes I have and will recommend Dr. Henein

She did some things during our visit that I did not want her to do. She will also not see you as a patient if you have had anything that has gone to collection even though they are not required to prove that you have received a bill.

I really wished I read reviews before I wasted my time with this person. The office staff must of called me daily 3 weeks before my appointment to confirm. Then when I checked in they insisted that I pay my copay upfront. Sorry I don’t prepay for any service! 20 minutes after my appointment time I was escorted to a room that was 82 degrees . Finally the doctor came in…I was not impressed and she was not dressed professional. The inner soles of her shoes were missing and broke. Lipstick on front teeth. Dress discombobulated. She took my BP, just what I thought….way high because the obscene heat in the room. Then she didn’t even know how to work her own thermostats. She didn’t care to listen to my ailments, only wanted to listen to me breath. What in the world can my breathing tell you about my joint pain! Honestly I think she’s is completely clueless about RA, lupus and osteoporosis. Took blood work; told me someone would contact me in a week or 2. Well that didn’t happen so when I

Dr. Violette Henein is my wife’s Rheumatologist. She is a wonderful caring doctor, and we would highly recommend her to anyone seeking care. She takes the time to listen and answer our questions. She has helped us through countless complications and has found helpful treatments that have improved quality of life. We trust her advice and recommendations, she is highly knowledgeable in her field. The office staff go out of their way to fit us into the schedule when we really need an appointment. They are helpful in working with insurance.

This was probably one of my worst experiences seeing a doctor. She had “copies” of my medical record even though she had a laptop in front of her. The copies did not have previous test results to compare. She listened to my history and stated she wanted to put me on a particular drug. Which by the was is quite costly, but stated she wanted to do labs first. After telling her my history of reflux and how I was instructed to eliminate dairy as it was inflammatory and after doing so my symptoms subsided she responded “well dairy has a lot of calcium”. She then stated “we can start you on that drug today”. I then said “I thought you wanted to do my labs first”. A complete nightmare. Labs came back with a couple questionable results. I followed up a week later with another Dr and had them redrawn with completely different results. Not sure those original labs were mine. Also trying to get a call back on lab results and xrays was nearly impossible. Communication with office was sub par. ????

As a Health Care Professional I was Extremely disappointed and scared at the same time with the care I received. No one communicated well and when I decided to run screaming ,figuratively from this office I was incredulous that they not only sent me my records but also of another patient. Definitely a HIPPA breach. Pumped me full of medications but did minimal tests before prescribing. And when I questioned some of them they never let me talk with Dr. It was such a bad experience I no longer want to see any other Rheumatologist. Please go elsewhere! Horrible experience!

never! I had to fire her. Doesn't listen to you and likes to push drugs. If you try to make your point to her she tells you that you don't have to come to her. She was right, I didn't. I went back to my GP and got a referral to a much better doctor and my GP was livid about the amount of steroids she was pushing. Won't even talk about the pain meds she wanted me to take.

I about fell through the floor when I got my bill in the mail. I think if you are seen by a dr they should hand you a price sheet when they say they are going to do a procedure right then. $375 for the ultrasound machine to find fluid in my knee?? $40 for some freeze spray?? $150 on top of the $225 office visit for the 20 minutes to drain my knee?? AND $200 for the follow up visit?? Asked FOUR times if I have back pain NO all 4 times.$779 later...Guess who is no longer a patient of Dr. Henein

Dr. Henein seems good, but her staff - not so much. They took blood from me at my first appt, which they did in a messy closet with blood-stains on the counter. The Dr. treated me well but the staff was not helpful. Had a problem with my Rx and I had to raise hell just to get someone to call the pharmacy. The staff is too lazy to give you a reminder call about your appt., but they don't mind calling you after you miss an appt. to tell you about the $25 no show fee. Overall too sketchy for me.

It’s been a few years since I last went to Dr. Henein. Very, very negative experience. I am 33 and look healthy on the outside. I’ve got rare joint and soft tissue issues galore. I was referred to her and was seeking help/support. The fact of the matter is that Dr. Henein was THEE most dismissive/disrespectful dr I’ve ever seen. No eye contact, no conversation. Said I was too young to have such extreme issues and nothing was abnormal, It was in my head. Then wrote me Rx for pain pills. Really ?

Dr Henein couldn't have found a worst receptionist. She was not friendly and very unprofessional. I did not stay with this doctor long and I finished up my visits to get my prescriptions. Overall, most of the staff & Dr Henein herself, was ok but their receptionist is horrible! She is the voice, face, and greeting of Dr Henein's practice which needs to be replaced immediately! My friends on Facebook knows about this place and will not go here. I suggest you do the same to avoid the hassle.
