Good doc, but terrible communication....
Procedure was handled well, as was Dr. Kurupath's bedside manner. Follow-up and communication was ***horrible***. Had a colonoscope in January. Was told I would receive a call with results in about 3 weeks. It's March. I've called 3 times. Still waiting for results. Today the office mgr said "if it was something serious, you would have heard earlier." Awesome.

Vinod K Kurupath, MD is probably the worst practitioner I have ever come across in my 60 years of existence. I received a pathology report through email from Sutter Health and Vinod K Kurupath, MD has not attempted to reach out and explain the results. I have tried, to no avail, on numerous occasions to either book an appointment or have him send over a detailed explanation of the results. I would expect that a patient under a doctors care would receive timely and courteous communication, especially when it involves lab results that are difficult to understand by someone who is not in the medical field. In addition, I was sent a large bill for the lab results w/o explanation. My wife, who is under my insurance, had the same procedure and her lab results were covered by insurance. In the end, stay away from Vinod K Kurupath, MD. He does not care about his patients well being and will not communicate.

Dr. Kurupath helped discover a misdiagnosis and also helped me with the blood I was passing for over a year. I was eventually cured after he tried a few things. He had many recommendations blending holistic treatments with traditional medicine.

I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy yesterday and could not be happier with the excellent service I received from start to finish. Dr Kurupath is great and he's surrounded with excellent support staff. I had no pain at all afterwards. I arrived at 1.15pm, was out by 3.30pm and was back at work first thing this morning feeling absolutely fine.
