I went in for a follow up after having a medical emergency for a SVT episode. When I told him why I was there, he was very dismissive ordered a echo and left the room. He never discussed anything with me or even the test results. Two weeks later I was informed that he no longer accepts patients from my medical group. I do not recommend this doctor!

He is dismissive, arrogant, and unempathetic. He doesn't care to listen to concerns or answer questions and he will be in & out of the exam room within a couple minutes. I do not trust him, and I highly suggest if you're reading this that you schedule an appointment with literally any other cardiologist in Ventura County. Save yourself the grief of having to deal with this man and go elsewhere to treat your ailment or condition.

Extremely dismissive about questions and concerns. Asked a question, he tends to give broad vague generalizations that are non-answers. I will never make another appointment in that office.

Dr. Gupta spent very little time with me, asked only perfunctory questions, and ordered tests I had already had only 2 weeks prior in the hospital. He told me nothing newer than what I had already told him. He prescribed a blood thinner that requires regular lab monitoring, but never told me that, and has not contacted me about scheduling a visit for that, or any other type of follow up. I will not be continuing as his patient, as I believe he is very irresponsible.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. I went in just for an EKG and I wound having my blood pressure taken 6 times and an echo. No one would tell me anything about what was happening or if something was wrong. The doctor maybe spent about two minutes with me and wouldn't explain if anything was wrong or not.
