Rude in initial consultation. Brushed off reasonable questions about restoring nerve function lost 4 years before. Virtually promised he would fix my pain and disability based on a 3 or 4 minute exam of my foot. Said I might still have a little numbness. Day of the appointment I arrived at 11.30 AM as scheduled and laid in bed for 7 and a half hours. By the time the surgery started at about 7:30 PM, he would have been at work for nearly 12 hours. Drilled two holes in my lower spine. One healed normally. The other took 6 months to close and periodically leaked fluid. Before and after MRIs look like different people. The 1st is normal. The 2nd has three or four deformed vertebrae and 3 or 4 discs deflated. I still have the original sciatic pain, worse than before and new lower back pain and stiffness. Difficult to even brush teeth. Hurts to bend over the sink. I doubt I will still be able to walk in a year. His resident said 'you know this might not work' five minutes before the surgery.

Dr. Zlomislic takes his patients seriously, as well as takes plenty of time in appointments. He’s very kind and thorough, and is a wonderful surgeon who helped me have a smooth recovery from a spinal fusion, and treated my back pain.

Dr Z provided plenty of information and was very thorough and caring. I would highly recommend him to family and friends!. He's an amazing surgeon and has a very responsive team that supports the patient in all the other steps, such as disability paperwork, workplace paperwork, appt scheduling, etc.

He is never available and his nurse will always send you to the er instead of making an appointment. Ardele his nurse is rude and refuses to let you speak with him or have him call you back. He double and triple books appointments where you wait for over 2 hours to see him for 5 minutes. He doesn't take the time to figure out what's wrong and what's going on. He overlooked my problems and costed me more problems.
