Dr. Kuo is skilled
Dr. Kuo found and removed a large polyp during a colonoscopy that was very concerning. His skill allowed him to remove the entire polyp and he got back to me ASAP with the path results and a plan moving forward. Not a stretch to say he may have helped save my life.

Was a patient of Dr Kuo for years. He was as passive, uninterested in finding my problem as a human can be. Never ordered the correct tests, just kept telling me to eat more rice and bland soup rather than finding out why I was hospitalized 8 times in 2 years for excruciating pain and intractable vomiting, 35 lb weight loss. Even when I fired him, he kept showing up at my hospital bedside and I had to ask him to leave. Finally I went to a GI at Medical City and got the procedure I had been stating I needed for 2 years. I was right, got a stent put in my bile duct and have been right as rain every since. I was out on disability because I could not get Dr Kuo to treat me properly and no one else at THR Plano would see me for GI because of non-compete desires with the GI docs there. He also tried to bill me for "extensive visits" when he was in my room less than 90 seconds each visit. Go somewhere else. He is an ineffective doctor.

Dr. Kuo was punctual, professional and spoke in layman's terms. I could not have asked more from Dr. Kuo or his staff. Sheila and Tawnya (staff) also displayed outstanding skills in each of their specific jobs and made my first experience very positive.

Dr. Kuo is so knowledgeable. You can tell he truly cares about his patients, and he doesn’t make you feel rushed like most doctors. He is the first doctor to actually help me with my G.I. issues that every other doctor has brushed off. His staff is always pleasant, office is very nice and clean, everyone is friendly, and the wait time is maybe 10 minutes, if that. I would highly recommend.
