Dr. Vincent Chavanon, MD

While he can be cold and dry, I didn’t read the reviews and decided to go with him for my reconstruction surgery since he was the only one available and I wanted my mastectomy done ASAP. The temporary expander surgery went well and when I was comfortable with the size of 280cc (small breasts) Dr Chavanon pushed for me to go bigger and order the nurse to inject more saline water in the expander. I was confused because I didn’t ask him to expand. So the next day, not comfortable with the bigger size, I sent him a note, via MyChart, and went back to have it deflated. Concerned with his behavior and worried that he was not getting what I was telling him, I sent him another note saying I didn’t want anything bigger that 300cc and despite also telling him right before my surgery that I wanted to wake up with the same size breast of my expanders, I woke up with 530cc.

I saw one of Dr Chavanons partners and liked him very much but he doesn’t do the type of reconstructive revision that I’m in need of so he referred me to any of his partners. I chose Chavanon because he was open the soonest. Our consultation didn’t go well. He looked at my records quickly in front of me, told me what he can do, suggested something I never heard of but never educated me on it, then never suggested anything for the obvious issues. I wrote it off as he’s tired and I just broke my foot so it could be me. Regardless, I was upset, felt lost and my stomach and instinct was telling me to hold off. So I did. I saw these reviews and couldn’t agree more. Chavanon was cold, no personality, never treated me like a human just another job and like one person said, it feels like he chooses who he wants to do surgery on and his vibes told me he had no interest in doing the surgery I need. I only hope I can find the correct surgeon for me because Chavanon is not that surgeon.

Dr v Chavanon doesn’t follow up with patients, he always find excuse to postpone visit or procedure Dr V Chavanon doesn’t delivered what he preach be aware! Dr V Chavanon avoid to speak to patients everything is handle by lies from his office staff The same goes with his office assistant Mrs Cassidy Do a favor to yourself don’t lose the time that you could invest to a more professional doctor

He was very cold, brief and apathetic. He acted as if he despises certain patients. Don't be a doctor like him. Please be polite and respectful to patients or don't choose to be a doctor. I will NEVER NEVER ever see this Dr Vincent Chavanon again!!

Dr. Chavanon is the BEST plastic surgeon who has ever worked on me! He is an honest man; and an artist who truly can take one look at something and know exactly what to do. Not to mention his calm and warm bedside manner. I will never go to another plastic surgeon again! Thank you so much Dr. C! You have made my life so much better and have made me look so much younger and beautiful!! :)
