I have been with Dr Bascile for many many years. He did Lasek revision at 50, great job! He did cataract surgery at 66. Great job! I wouldn’t trust any other doctor. He’s terrific so patient so nice to talk with

I've been a patient of his for at least 35 years and has always listened to my concerns, addressed my vision problems and he has saved my vision! He always has the time to converse with me and never tries to rush to the next patient despite how busy his waiting room is!

never regretted my decision to see Dr Basilice.
There is a welcoming feel in office . From front desk to testing stations and exam rooms. Staff are all friendly and knowledgeable and thorough in their explanations of things .Dr Basilice, though, busy during office hours , never rushes when he is with you . He’s patient, kind and reenforces all courses of your treatment and what is expected as end result.Dr schaffer was very positive and kind at postoperative visit and also was sure regimen on drops was clear and went over what to be concerned about and to report if needed.i also would be remiss not to extend kudos to the Port Jeff Surgi Center and all the hard working efficient nurses , anesthesiologists and techs working all that machinery . Their patience and care there made the experience very enjoyable . Dr Basilice checks in frequently and gets your raw nerves calmed down and you get through a stressful situation unharmed and seeing as well. Seeing him in his element , shows he loves and is great at what he does !!

Eyesight is so clear now
Dr. Basilice has a first class practice and everyone is so helpful. He called me the night of surgery inquiring about how I was feeling and one of the nurses did the same. Overall I’m very pleased with the results and the professionalism of his practice.

Dr. Basilice is by far the best Ophthalmologist!
Unknown to me, I was having a sudden glaucoma attacked. Dr. Basilice explained what needed to be done in a calm, caring manner. He corrected the problem. Next, he went on to remove my cataracts and correct my astigmatism which was so bad I couldn't see without glasses. Thanks to Dr. Basilice, the only time I really need glasses is when I'm reading! Everyone on Dr. Basilice's staff is caring and kind. I have met a lot of doctors throughout my life and I can honestly say Dr. Basilice is the best!

Catarct Surgery
After 30 years of great eye care, Dr Basilice recently performed cataract surgery which was an tremendous success. I now drive at night without the blinding glare from oncoming traffic and read without glasses. I wish I had this done sooner...
