2.5 years Survivor- Awesome Team
Dr Minocha has great bedside manners. He came on board 3 years ago when I was diagnosed with colon cancer and his thoroughness and intellect regarding the best treatment plan for me is for sure a five stars. Before the diagnosis, I was involved in a horrific auto accident, resulting in me having major spine injuries and neurological issues, which left me with unbearable neuropathy- mainly in both hands and arms. He ordered the lowest chemo dosage, while still maintaining a strong treatment plan to minimize the pain and burning. His determination to keep a close watch on my condition, was evident that he’s that physician you want leading your oncology journey. During this stable all negatives results part of the journey, he and the team ( Marvin, Carina, Michael, Camille, Jessica, and Genevieve) are always giving superb patient care - never making me feel I’m being rushed or I don’t matter - just a number. Keep up the fantastic work Dr Minocha and team at UM- Coral Springs

My mom had stage 1 cancer when diagnosed. Her first line oncologist was at MD Anderson in Houston Texas. They said we could do chemo anywhere but recommended to have surgery at MD Anderson. Since we live in South Florida we decided to do her chemo with University of Miami Sylvester comprehensive cancer center. With Minocha she did 2 months of chemo before surgery which was very effective. Tumor shrunk 50%. She then had a Whipple surgery at MD Anderson in Houston. Pathologist said the tumor was 60% dead. The oncologist in Houston then recommended to continue chemo at a REDUCED DOSE, then tyrated up to acquire tolerance. I told Minocha what the oncologist recommended and begged him to give her a reduced dose because the first 2 months of it was beating her up. Unfortunately Minocha didn't listen to me nor what our oncologist in Houston recommended. He gave her a full dose totally disregarding that she just had major surgery. This dose broke her will to continue chemo. Minocha never gave her a chance. 3 months later my mom showed a recurrence of cancer in a CT scan. So he changed to a different chemo which made the cancer spread even worse. Now my mom is in stage 4 in hospice and I totally blame Minocha for my mom's current situation. We never felt he listened to any of our concerns. Constantly talked over me. He is very passive. In the middle of his "care" his whole team changed new nurse practitioner and nurses, not sure if they all quit. We once waited 3 hours for a follow up appointment, so we had to leave without seeing him but they charged my mom's insurance for a visit. Normally our visits lasted 11 minutes. My mom visited the emergency hospital a few times, 2 of which he sent us there and everytime he had no clue we were there even after messaging the team on MyChart. Our last hospital visit they told us that after 5 days in UM hospital that Minocha hasn't responded. His team rarely ever even acknowledged our MyChart messages. It has been the worst care team I have ever experienced. He is completely out of touch. I would never recommend him to anyone. I wish I could change to zero stars on this review because of how careless and negligent he is.
