Dr. Vinay Kumar, MD

Having moved to Colorado, I called to have my records transferred to my new primary care provider. It was shocking to hear that his system crashed and the backup failed. I was told all of my medical records from years with this office were permantly lost. How can something like this happen?

Office staff, especially the manager, are rude and incompetent. Over a year and a half they have screwed up my prescriptions time and time again, they set appointments for 8:30 am but come strolling in minutes later then take 20min to get settled. It's been a year and 4 months since I've actually seen my doctor, and every other patient in the waiting room said the same. Manager handled them screwing up my prescriptions again by interrupting me and then just hanging up, that's their patient care. And like I said they screw up a lot. 8n a year and a half they have failed entirely to help find a back sergeant and vascular as I live with increasing pain. In the end the patients become victims of a horrible staff just going through the motions to push people through, give pills, and take money. If you want to get better, start by getting a better doctor's office. Good luck.

Best Primary Care Physician who is more concerned and really cares about every patient and goes above and beyond as well as Dr.Buddha his other Doctor who has treated me and both very intellegent deeply caring and go far above and beyond to treat your health and are very best at what they do and really care about you the patient

Very caring and knowledgeable . Since Covid hard to get appt. and long Wait but always feel better after seeing him ! He takes his time with you and doesn’t rush you once you get in to see him ?? Would highly recommend him !

Best Doctor in USA hoping and praying after long battle he shall again be my primary he shall and will only need 1 physician again thank god suffering and mid evil torture shall end finally.

We just moved to Merritt Island and of course in search for a good Dr. Our neighbor told us her family goes to Dr Kumar and that he was truly a good doctor. So we went and we are so glad we have an awesome Dr. One thing about Dr Kumar is he first of all is very attentive and he spends time with you as a patient to better understand your history. You for sure understand fully well you're very important to him and he is not rushing through to see the next patient. Lastly, he explains things very well, very good communication skills. If you've been to an old time country Dr in the past, it's a very similar approach/feel from a patient perspective. I am so glad we found this doctor.

From beginning to end I have to say, WOW! Everyone from front desk to Nurses to check out staff were so friendly, and patient, helpful and kind. Dr. Kumar is everything awesome I heard about and then some. He is so thorough and patient. A great listener, super gentle and knowledgeable. He’s really so caring and supportive. I am so glad I finally found my great Florida doctor. I had the same doctor for 20 years when I lived in Nashville. I moved here in 2014 and never found someone whom I really felt cared about. I’m really happy Dr. Kumar took me as a new patient.

I love Dr. Vinay Kumar. He has a very kind and caring spirit. No matter how busy he is, he spends time with you and does not rush the appointment. He inspired me to lose weight with excellent results through proper diet and exercise. He is very thorough in his check ups. I highly recommend him. His staff is very professional and accommodating and return phone calls in a proper amount of time. They rock!

Dr. Kumar DENIED my referral to see him. When I asked if they was something missing from the referral that my old rheumatologist faxed over, staff said no, he just doesn't think it's something he can treat right now. Are you kidding me? I have been seeing a rheumatologist since 2012 and need a new one close to my new house. I am in shock that a doctor would REFUSE to see a patient that is in need. Not sure why you went into the medical field to help patients if you're refusing them.

He’s attentive, gives each of his patients the time they need in his office. Truly an great doctor

This is the worst. In 2019-2018 he's started giving elders Seroquel, an anti-psychic med with numerous horrible side effects including diabetes. He won't refer to a specialist or give any free wellness benefits. His staff are rude and ignorant and if you're in crisis, he won't give appointments. He should be ashamed sending seniors to death for their insurance money.

Dr. Kumar is awesome. He was my mother and fathers doctor for many years and now my doctor. He is very patient, personable and kind and he really cares about you as a patient. He remembered my dads little sayings which when my fathers dementia had progressed it really helped when he would use my fathers familar expressions like " Are you hunky dorie"? This really relaxed my father. I highly recommed Dr. Kumar.

I love Dr. Kumar, he talks to me like a friend and explains things that other Doctors usually do not do. I recommend him 100%~ His staff is amazing too.

Dr.Kumar and his partner Dr.Deepthi Buddha are two of the most excellent physicians I have the pleasure and good luck to be referred to. I have had excellent care and would recommend them to anyone seeking quality medical care. I just recently moved to Florida from Indiana and was extremely worried about finding a good doctor. Fortunately I was referred to these two outstanding physicians who have an outstanding staff as well. I had given Dr.Buddha a bad review earlier for which I deeply regret.

I've been treated with Dr. Kumar for 7 years this is my caring Dr.he listens to my needs and comforts my pain , this is the best Dr of all, God bless Dr.Vaney Kumar and his staff.
