Dr. Vikram Sahay, MD

Dr. Satay looked after me twice in the last 2 years. He is the best Dr I have ever had in a hospital. He is the reason I choose to go Riverside Community Hospital if I ever have urgent medical needs ( even though there are closer hospital). I trust him immensely and thank him so much for the excellent care I received.

Listened well and content. He was very respectful and kind. Though his wife was highly disrespectful and has no business with the medical field. She should not be calling any shots and she should not be involved, especially considering she is unemployed and does not have any education above a high school degree, and even that, is a miracle that she passed high school. Overall, great doctor, bad wife.

I was admitted to Riverside Community history for Cardiac issue and Dr Sahay was my physician. Very knowledgeable, very personable. I wish he were my primary care physician.

Dr Sahay does not respond to patient needs in a timely manner. he yells at nurses and often it is embarrassing to explain to patients why they requested a visit from the doctor and there has been no response. when he does see patients it is rushed.

Dr. Vikram Sahay had promised to write a letter to my employer and to certify I needed time off work after surgery when he worked as a 'hospitalist' for Parkview Hospital in Riverside. He failed to follow through with his promise and it cost me thousands of dollars in financial asssitance, putting my family at risk. He made no attempts to return phone calls and then sent me a bill for his services, though I paid the entire bill in full with Parkview Hospital. Be very wary of any promises this man makes.

This man is horrible!! My mom died June 19th and he still hasn’t filled out a death certificate. Without that my mom can’t be cremated. The nursing home has tried to get a hold of him and crematorium. They have called faxed emailed called and faxed several times. Friday he was turned into the state. I left a message this morning with his answering service. If this isn’t taken care of I’m getting a attorney!!!!! My mom deserves better than this you monster!!!!

Dr. Sahay was a Hospitalist, who cared for me while I was a patient in Parkview. Couldn't have asked for better care. He listened, collaborated with my specialist, maintained contact with visiting nurses after I returned home. Very much wanted Dr. Sahay to become my primary doctor, but would have had to pay $60/appt. out of pocket and sit in the emergency room, since he was still a Hospitalist. Am now seeking a dedicated physician, once again. Will call his office this afternoon!
