Dismissed me in less than a minute
Dr. Malik condescendingly dismissed my recent allergic reaction as anxiety within 30 seconds of walking in the office. He also said 'adults don't develop new allergies.' The offices are filthy, and the billing messages are so harassing between texts, phone calls, and emails. They also got my name wrong with the insurance company and caused a 6-month delay in payment processing.

Best doctor visit ever
Wait time for appointment was relatively quick (less than 10 min). We got right down to business answering my questions and talking about my symptoms and different ways to treat it. No asking for me for my entire life story. No waiting around for 3 different nurses to ask the same questions I already filled out in a questionnaire. Got in and got out with a prescription in less than 40 minutes. Definitely my kind of a doctor visit.

Up to Date and professional
Dr. Malik is a professional physician who is bringing up to date management of allergic conditions to the Ocean State. He brought oral immunotherapy for food allergy which is rarely done by most allergists using a protocol from Dr. Wasserman, the leading authority on food immunotherapy. He also makes management decisions which are prompt and useful. Recommend him for up to date medical care that you do not have to go to Boston for latest and greatest.

Rude and condescending. Would never recommend him
He is rude, narcissistic and probably the worst doctor I’ve dealt with in 70 years.

Great experience
Booking the appointment was easy and the appointment itself was really smooth. Dr. Malik was very nice, assessed me and ordered a blood test which identified the issue. Great experience overall!

Horrible Doctor
Dr. Malik forgot about me waiting in room, and took another patient before me. I waited in the room for him to come in for about 45 minutes. I finally got the nurse to alert him. He was in the room next to me, playing on his phone. When he finally came in, I asked why was I waiting so long, and he turned nasty and said, “do not talk to me like that!” He was so argumentative. I was shocked, because I deserved none of this. I complained to HR and wrote on their portal. Of course, no response!! He should not be a doctor. He has a volatile personality and gave me the creeps. The absolute worst ever!!!

Lacking empathy and listening skills
I felt like Dr. Malik was in a rush when seeing me and did not listen to anything I was saying. He spent the entire appointment being argumentative when I did nothing to deserve his anger. I understand everyone has bad days but please learn to control your temper Dr. Malik and not take it out on patients I recommend seeing Dr. Z at this practice instead

poor support staff
Dr. Malik ordered allergy skin tests. The nurse practioner who administerd the test was unskilled and poorly trained. She used the pricking technique. It was painful, made my arm red and was unreadable because my arm became red. Therefore I had to go and get a blood test. A waste of an hour.
