Dr. Vikas Gupta, MD

I had to fire him as my primary care physician. I was ready to leave him few years ago but he brought on a helper. She was great. Then she left and he cancelled three appointments in a row on me. I get the first one, and forgave the second one. The third one, according to his staff, he was on vacation. But he didn't tell me until 1 week out. I have passed on a fun trip because I had that appointment and had already missed two. So no appointment, no trip, he went on vacation and didn't have the decency to alert me in advance.

When I originally saw the doctor I had to call over and over and over again to get him to finally respond to the multiple tests he had run. Now his office is telling me he can't do anything for me because I didn't keep going to him after my initial diagnosis, even though no one told me that's what I needed to do.

Dr. Gupat is a phenomenal physician. His knowledge and experience is broad based, and he is able to diagnose concerns early, before they become more serious issues for patients.

A fine physician, with a top notch nurse and office staff. Dr Gupta is an excellent diagnostician who leaves nothing to chance. He and his NP, Megan make certain their treatment is effective and when necessary can recommend the best local Specialists they know will match their dedication to their patients. After 20 years, I would choose no other Medical Team and recommend them highly.

Dr Gupta is thorough in his exams and explanations and has a very pleasant personality. I have been a patient of his for 4 years and have had no problems with him or the office staff.

I had an appointment scheduled and showed up that evening having taken off work the next day. I arrived and was told "Oh we don't show you on the schedule but, we just installed a new software and are not to familiar with it, sorry. Can you call in the morning?" I called and was told I was accidently removed from the schedule and would be put in the next available spot. So this cost me two (2) vacation days. While at the sleep study there is only one attendant for multiple patients.

My husband and I were his patients up until the time we moved in 2005. WE have never been as satisfied with any Dr.' where we live now in SC as we were with Dr. Gupta. I think of him quite often and wish we could still go to him. He was very thorough with addressing our issues. He is the best in my book.

I can't say enough good things about this doctor and staff. I've been going here for 10 years, and I plan on being a patient for life. He is very thorough, and never makes you feel rushed. His diagnosis are accurate, and his treatment plans effective. He makes you feel like a real person, and not a number. He genuinely cares, and it's apparent. It's such a blessing to find a GOOD doctor that isn't arrogant, and has good bedside manner. He's a keeper folks! Sarah and Bee are wonderful too!

It was a very good experience. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable.The technician that performed my actual study was very knowledgable, and had very good customer service skills. Highly recommend.

I consider Dr. Gupta to be an excellent physician and he has performed excellently for me and my wife. We feel very fortunate to have him as our doctor.
