Dr. Vijay Taunk, MD

Dr. Taunk is compassionate and really cares about me. She is easy to talk with and truly understands what I am trying to explain. She has helped make it through some really difficult issues. I have a great quality of life because of Dr. V.J. Taunk. Thank You Dr. Taunk for being who you are !

If you need to discuss multiple issues, understand what is happening, or maybe you are sick with several health problems that need to be addressed, this is not the Dr for you. She does not like to explain things or be questioned. Refuses to review reports/labs ordered by other Drs. Even if you have legitimate concerns about medication orders or want to explore other options, she really does not want to be bothered. Don't expect anything beyond basic generic care. Not a good experience for someone that needs a PCP that actually wants to help you understand and manage your healthcare. Isn't that the definition of a PCP?

I love Dr. Taunk and the ladies in the office always make me laugh ??! You won’t have to look any further for a Doctor. She’s such a sweet lady and truly cares about your wellbeing!

Dr. Taunk is a very good listener, able to make a diagnosis quickly and seems to care about you, the patient.

I’m a 64 yr old man and had never had a female primary care doctor and I am quite comfortable with Dr. Taunk, she is incredibly knowledgeable in the field of medicine and she is always patient and understanding with me as I am a difficult patient with a number of health issues. Her staff is also very knowegable and they take care of business which is so important in obtaining proper care.

If you are looking for a primary care or family doctor I would highly recommend Dr. Taunk. She is also trained and does procedures that I’ve not found available with other primary care doctors Ive seen in the past. Dr. Taunk is an extremely compassionate Doctor and always taken the time to listen and to help me whenever I have gone to see her. She is extremely knowable about medicine and if the issue requires a specialist, she will refer you to one. Also important, her staff is excellent.

Simply the best! I come from a medical family,and am related to prominent,accomplished doctors. I believe i can evaluate doctors somewhat better than the average patient. I have found that Dr. Taunk,is really a great doctor. She is unusually knowledgeable. She is unusually empathetic,and very easy to talk to. She is a great communicator,and adresses all concerns accurately,compassonately,and expertly. Her staff,especially Jackie are just great also. I give her my highest recommendation.

Dr. Taunk is a great doctor. She is as sharp as a tack and always up on all the latest medical informantion. Her staff is always efficient and helpful and there is short waiting time, if any. One of her terrific office policies is that if any of her patients request an immediate emergency office visit, that patient has access as soon as you can get to her office. I lucked out finding her when we moved to Florida a few years ago. I am a consumer of the medical system and she is the best.

Dr. Vijay takes the time to listen to your concerns. Office staff is amazing!

Continued. I took off work for this appointment and when I shared my anger and concern that I was not told about the $30 per page which they changed to $50 for both pages, Jackie claimed she was sorry but clearly did not care. I've never been treated this way at a doctors office ever. I guess $50 is more important than my business and their integrity. They wanted more money in top of my insurance paying for my checkup. Never heard of that. And I should have been told up front.

I made an appointment for a checkup and needed paperwork (2 pages) filled out for my job because I missed work due to pneumonia. Jackie that I had talked to 3 times in the last few weeks regarding my appt failed to tell me that it costs $30 a page to have the paperwork filled out. So on top of my insurance paying her for my checkup I was to pay $30 per page for my paperwork. I've had FMLA paperwork filled out by a doctor for a blood clot before and never had to pay for paperwork.

Dr. Taunk and her staff are exceptional! She is very thorough. Her staff is excellent-I had an issue with insurance and hospital testing and they made it their priority to have the matter resolved. Then called me to reassure me that everything was completely taken care of.

I've been going to Dr. Taunk for several years. I've never had a problem receiving the best possible care. If you have any questions when your not at the office, she will return calls as soon as possible. She is the kindest physician I have found in many years. Dr. Taunk is caring and very thorough in her examination of you and your health needs and takes all the time you need. I highly recommend Dr. Taunk.

Dr. Taunk is very dedicated to each and every patient. I really enjoy my visits to see her as I know that she'll do her very best to understand my personal body's imperfections and do a plan of care that is bases solely on my needs and wants. Besides her terrific bedside manner, she is also a highly skilled physician / diagnostician and a genuinely caring person. She may seem shy, but she has a sense of humor too. I'd highly recommend Dr. Vijay Taunk to everyone.

I have been a patient of dr. Taunk for 4 plus years and have changed more than one insurance policy to stay with her, as a good one (dr) is hard to find. truly a good feeling to know my health is in very good hands.

I was very hesitant to visit a physician, I never felt comfortable or pleased with the treatment or care of those who I had to see because an emergency. I have been a patient of Dr Taunk going on three years, and it has been a life changing experience. She is the most compassionate and caring physician I have been with. She takes the time to listen, explain and address any concerns and she does so from the heart.

Dr. Taunk and her whole staff are wonderful. Jacke is always friendly and understanding of my circumstances, when I need to schedule an appointment. So blessed that I found them.

I recently selected Dr. Taunk as my primary care doctor, I have been with her a short time but I am extremely pleased how concerned and caring she is. She makes sure all questions are answered and will make sure all proper blood work or test are performed so that we can pinpoint the cause of pain etc. I am very happy with Dr. Taunk and the friendly office staff .
