Dr. Vidya Counto, MD

Dr Counto saw my 17 year old son. She was very rushed and impatient. She rapid fired questions, spoke over and interrupted his answers therefore mis-hearing his reponses. He even attempted to correct her incorrect interpretation of response and she continued down the 'list' of questions. We don't expect coddling bedside manner but a physician cannot possibly diagnose a patient if she cannot slow down enough to listen. Dr Counto. Look up from your tablet, make eye contact with the patient and have a conversation. It may cost you two more minutes in the room. We paid for your 8 minutes. Wouldn't hurt to get it right.

For the 2nd time she was almost an hour late seeing me while I waited in the room. Then she acted rushed with me, less than 10 mins in room. She always seems to ask "do you want to", well I came to you to find ou . I also have a blood disorder and she prescribed iron, come to find out from the hematologist I am not suppose to orally take iron. Her final words were, "I'm trying to help you", well in my opinion she is always just trying to get me out as soon as possible. Will be looking for new doctor.

My husband and I are very blessed to have a dedicated and compassionate physician in Dr. Counto. She listens carefully to our physical complaints and is very thorough with her exams and tests. She has caught medical issues with both of us before they became serious or life threatening. She directs us to other quality professionals when needed. The entire staff is friendly and competent and is prompt in calling patients with test results and also returns calls in a timely manner.
