Dr. VanFossen is always very friendly and caring. She did express her concern about my breast sensitivity and suggested some physical therapy- and who knew that you could have physical therapy for your breasts?!

Doctor explained my condition and her plan for correcting it very well. She showed diagrams to help me understand procedure and location of thyroid that will be removed. She was thorough in walking me through my upcoming surgery and recovery and very patient in answering all my questions.

Dr. Van Fossen has guided me through a lengthy breast cancer journey: from initially feeling a lump missed by mammograms and ultrasounds, to double mastectomy and reconstruction, to survivorship. I've had nearly 2 years of treatment because I have the BRCA-2 mutation. Dr. Van Fossen has guided me every step along the way -- recommending terrific doctors on my medical team; reaching out to me outside office hours with compassion, kindness, and care; and educating me with her own expert knowledge. My family holds her in the highest esteem and appreciates her role in our lives. I cannot speak highly enough about how important she has been to my journey and recovery.
