Laparoscopic hernia repair
Dr. Murdock was friendly and informative but it was her skill and experience with robotics and hernia repairs that impressed me. I’m 7 weeks post surgery and feel fantastic. I’m slowly getting back to my exercise routine without heavy weight lifting. In time:). Hang in there everyone it’s not that bad if you have the right surgeon.

Anti smoke/anti pain pills /anti compassion
I was referred for a hernia repair that had started to bulge and hurt. Took time off work, drove five hours for the appointment and of course had to get a room. Office staff is extremely friendly and professional, I am not as impressed with the Dr. . After telling her my issues and an exam, she said she could fix it with a couple stitches and that it would only get worse if I strain or lift anything to heavy at all. She seemed only concerned with how many pain pills I have taken in my life, showing no or very little concern for my situation , concerns or the effort it took to see her. after all of the questions about meds she informed me that she would not repair it because I smoked. She will not put a couple stitches in my gut unless i completely quit smoking. I could call back after that in 4 to 6 weeks. I left feeling belittled, and disrespected and plain stupid for even going in at all. I hope not to blow it out when i get back to work , because , ill just be out of luck!

Wonderful Surgery Experience
Dr. Murdoch is the utmost professional. She took the time needed to get my hernia repaired, after suffering a massive heart attack with 30min of CPR, ecmo, impella, and being on a vent for 15 days. I was a challenging patient, but she successfully repaird my hernia. He office staff is as amazing as she is. Thanks to all of you. You made a huge difference in my life and can thank you enough.
