Dr Salter treats my husband who has had asthma since early childhood. He is the first doctor, in all Jerrys years with asthma, that has controlled his asthma. I also worked as a nurse in A hospital he was associated with and seen him treat many really ill patients and we seen them turn around in his care. There is NO better!! My husband knows he gets the best care ever from Dr Salter. BN & JN

I brought my Aunt to see Dr. Salter. He was wonderful with her. His knowledge & compassion helped to ease her mind during a very stressful time. He went out of his way to assure she had the best continuity of care. He worked seamlessly with Dr. Lacy Harville (Thoracic Surgery) & Thompson’s Oncology to get her a diagnosis and plan of care.

Not only does he keep a check on my lungs but through him I learned I was suffering from renal cell carcinoma of left kidney. If not for Dr. Salter, I may not even be here today....also pointed out to me that I am a likely candidate for angina.

I worked along side of Dr. Salter in a local hospital's ICU. I have never in my life seen a doctor fight for his patients and sacrifice his free time in caring for his patients like Dr. Salter does. When I first started having lung issues he was at the very top of the list of Pulmonologists that I know of. Number 1. Another thing I like about him is his honesty concerning his dealing with the patient and their condition. He won't beat around the bush if the news is not good but he always tries to fight against the odds if there is a glimmer of a chance to save a life. Is he perfect? No one is but he is still trying to get there. That's why I like him and trust him.

My experience with Dr.Salter has been 100% positive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He listens carefully to my recitation and asks pertinent questions to elicit a true picture of my current status. His advice is not generic or "packaged". Rather it is clearly individualized to fit my circumstances. I never feel rushed or dismissed when asking questions or seeking advice. I truly feel that a partnership exists to attain the best possible management of my COPD.
