A great cardiologist!
I have seen Dr. Bonilla for over a decade and he has been always competent in guiding me in all respects including recommending the Watchman Procedure to prevent strokes.

Getting answers from Dr. Bonilla was like its own medical procedure or at least pulling teeth. Fortunately, as an attorney, I am used to asking the question over until I get something responsive. Still, not very reassuring that he actually considered the facts and results. It seemed he just printed notes and read them.

Dr. Bonilla went above and beyond diagnosing and thoroughly explaining a life-threatening condition that my husband had. He was so kind and took so much time with us. The office had closed an hour and a half prior to him leaving our appointment. Then he called the next morning at 7:30 to check and make sure that he made it through the night and that he was able to get the medication he needed. My husband is alive and well today because of the care he received from Dr.. Bonilla.

Frankly, I would avoid this doctor if you want someone who is willing to answer questions, communicates clearly and thoroughly, has a non-patronizing attitude, and shows a genuine interest in helping the patient. Maybe he's just burned out.

Dr Bonilla, should not be practicing any more. He shows very little care to his patients and care less about their time in a waiting room. He does not want to hear your problems or concerns all he does is slowly read previous notes that he inputted and types new ones in. BASED ON MY VISITS I WOULD NOT RECOMEND HIM TO ANYONE.
