First, my appt was scheduled at the Hoyt Plaza a year ago, and learned that not only had Dr Lee changed locations, I did not have an appt! No one contacted me of the change. I only found out when I called ahead and asked if my husband could join me for my appt. I was left with the feeling that Dr Lee was not engaged nor did she do as thorough an exam as the previous year. I live about an hour away from both locations so I would have presented at the Hoyt Plaza only to be turned away. Dr Smith was my oncologist for over 12 years and I sorely missed his caring attitude towards me and to my family. I am seriously thinking about changing my oncologist but do not know who to go to within Compass Oncology. I was on a clinical trial for HER 2+ neu, negative ER/PR Stage III breast cancer. I have not made my annual appt due in March 2022 yet, but do not look forward to seeing Dr Lee again. Is there a patient advocate that you are able to refer me to to facilitate a change?

A breast cancer diagnosis is terrifying. You need to know you are getting the best care possible. Dr. Lee knows her stuff. She also CARES and LISTENS. I was terrified going into chemo and did not have confidence in my original doctor. I went to Dr. Lee for a second opinion and immediately chose her to be my doctor. I’m 6 months post chemo as I write this and can confidently say that changing to Dr. Lee was one of the best decisions I ever made. The team working with Dr. Lee is great too. They have been there to answer every question, review side effects / symptoms and provided me with incredible care. They have a system, just knowing the routine and that it will be the same every time is helpful when you are getting something as scary as chemo or radiation. I cannot complement the infusion nurses enough. I would recommend Dr. Lee and her team to anyone without hesitation.

Yes! Without hesitation... she listens... she spends time and never makes me feel like she needs to rush me out the door... she remembers family details and asks about them. She is kind and compassionate. I recently lost my father and her concern was genuine. Her knowledge of medicine and for me particularly metastatic breast cancer is evident. She and her staff work hard to get medicines covered by my insc co. She knows my family history and takes all into consideration... even alternative medicines. When I ask her about treatments I have found, she talks openly with me about them and helps me make informed decisions. She AND her staff are AMAZING!!!

Dr. Lee is friendly and listens to concerns to a point. I don’t feel she takes time to get to know the patient outside of the illness they are battling or an illness they’ve beaten and are working to keep at bay. Everything feels reactive and not proactive. This does not solely fall on Dr. Lee, but more to how the clinic schedules appointments. When I first met her because my previous doctor left the practice, I had to give her the whole history of my cancer journey while she stared at the computer to see if what I said was in my chart. There’s no personal touch. There’s no understanding of the patient’s whole life outside of the office. If one cancer is not the same as another, then how you treat a patient should be adjusted to that patient’s needs. Patients are not the same and should be treated with respect, understanding and care.

I was in for my every 6 month post-breast cancer treatment check up. All A-OK. Only my second time with Dr. Lee (was Dr John Smith's patient previously). She was thorough, efficient, but especially kind and open to questions. Am happy with her as my new provider.

I would recommend Dr. Vicky Lee to anyone that ask me. She is very compassionate and caring. I have gone to Dr. Lee for over 8 years and I find her very professional and knowledgeable. She has seen me through 9 years of my cancer CLL. I had to have a bone marrow test. I was so scared because I had heard how painful it is. Dr. Lee is the one who did the procedure and I have to say that I hardly felt anything. She is turely a wonderful doctor !
