Dr. Vickas Khemsara, MD

I recently underwent a cataract procedure with Dr. Khemsara and I cannot commend him highly enough. Dr. Khemsara was professional, thorough, patient, and exceptionally skilled. Although I was initially quite nervous, Dr. Khemsara made the process seamless and painless. I highly recommend him for any eye care needs.

Typically, the care has met my expectations. On two occasions, the office has been crowded, with a substantive waiting time e.g., an hour. With Covid-19 in existence, please call patients ahead of time to let one know that the wait time is considerable; indicate the option to change appointment. Further, I suggest that patients be texted (if possible) while waiting in the car as to when to enter for appointment. It was uncomfortable seeing so many patients, despite distancing, in the waiting room with some even standing beyond the double doors, waiting to enter and check in. Thank you for this consideration.

Dr. Khemsara is very knowledgeable yet compassionate and patient with patients. He does not rush when he is on office with you. Considers your questions as important and takes time to explain responses. He helps you relax during surgery.

I am glad he was my doctor. He did it quickly and let me know what he was doing. He was good at his job.

Great experience all around. I was diagnosed with cataracts and after the initial surprises, I was very relieved to know why my vision was changing all the time. I am currently waiting for my second cataract surgery and it cant come soon enough.
