I've always shied away from Western medicine as I've felt the visits were rushed and medication was always a "go to." Dr. Holbrook turned this around for me. She took the time to listen to my concerns and explain options in an easy to understand way. Her assistant was also kind and personable. To find a doctor who cares and wants the best for the patient is sadly like looking for a needle in a haystack. But I do believe I've found one.

Was turned away due to 10 minute late for scheduled appointment time. Had to reschedule due to Med Grp policy. Had explained that I returned a day early from trip to Miss for this Dr. visit. Rainy morning caused I-10 to be at stand still and alternate route was also congested. What was to be a 10 minute trip turned into over 40 minutes, for which I had no control. I explained this all to the staff and the Dr. but was told they could not deviated from their policy and would have to reschedule. Their demand to reschedule certainly raised concerns that my care was not important enough to accommodate the real world reality of traffic congestion nor the value of patient efforts made to be in their office at the exact appointment time. It raises concern that the focus of the Doctor's actions would primarily be on office policies and CDC policies to a greater extent than accommodating patient's needs. My trust in the real caring for patient's needs is cracked if not broken.
