The care and compassion from this Dr. is non existent. Also, first Dr I’ve ever met that thinks Tylenol’s is the treatment for intense night spasms after a fractured bone. She didn’t get that Tylenol does not take away spasms, nor do narcotics so I certainly wasn’t asking for narcotics but all other Dr’s treat this with muscle relaxers so the patient can sleep and heal the bone. Her way is basically ... you need to be in discomfort and pain.

Saw Dr. Rivera for the first time today. I have a severe and pretty complicated injury to my left ankle. I had my foot reattached and broke my femur as well. Dr. Rivera spent over an hour with me explaining the current state of my injury and what my options are. She is so unbelievably smart. I've never had a Dr. spend that much time with me before. I won't see anyone else but her going forward. She is very rare! If you need an ortho for anything foot an ankle related she's your only option.

Dr Rivera is not only a skilled surgeon, but a great doctor. She performed a successful surgery on my ankle in 2014 and I have returned several times with injuries to my other ankle. She is a very conservative doctor and very personable. I have lived in Miami 25 years and good doctors like her are VERY few and far between here! I share her number with anyone I know with a foot or ankle injury.

I recently saw Dr. Rivera for an ankle injury and was very pleased with the care and treatment I received. Dr. Rivera explained my injury in simple terms that I could understand and clearly outlined a treatment path to ensure a full and speedy recovery. She has a great demeanor and I was very impressed with her knowledge and expertise. Her staff, too, was very pleasant and helpful with respect to coordinating my physical therapy.
