Dr. Venodhar Julapalli, MD

I’ve struggled with gastrointestinal challenges for many years and have been evaluated by Houston’s top Gastroenterologists who have offered no solutions beyond medications. During my first visit with Dr. Venodhar Rao Julipalli, he demonstrated that the solution to my debilitating condition was “hiding in plain sight”. Dr. Julipalli has vast knowledge and experience in the gastrointestinal field. He helped me find out that SOY was the cause of my severe autoimmune esophageal spasms. I’m cured as long as I stay away from Soy. No medications, & no side effects. Dr. J was uniquely focused on my issue. He is priceless. If fact, that should be his by-line, “The Priceless Doctor.”

I never felt rushed and the way he engages conversation, he is actually listening and working towards genuinely helping you. He did my colonoscopy, explained everything thoroughly! This will be my only GI if I have any say about it.

Dr. Jullapali was the first GI dr we met with who tried to figure out the root cause of my daughters health issues. Most of the drs we met before never even took the time to review all of the bloodwork and actually talk to her and listen to what she said. WIth his help we went from her only being able to attend school 50 percent of the time to her not missing a single day of school due to abdominal pain. He was very patient and worked with her and pushed her to try new methods like trying intermittent fasting and bone broth. I highly recommend Dr. Julapalli for any GI needs.

Dr. Julapalli is one of the few doctors to encourage me to truly take my health into my own hands. He treats his patients with respect and sees each of them individually as a person rather than only their condition. He has been very attentive to my concerns and personal health struggles in a way you do not see with most doctors. Dr. Julapalli has not rushed any appointment I have had with him; he patiently answers any questions I may have, breaking down complex health issues in a way that is easy for anyone to understand. My Uncle Paul has been going to Dr. J for awhile now and suggested that I come see him as well. I did not have the traditional gut symptoms when I came into the clinic for the first time. I was interested to see if Dr. J could treat my weak immune system and chronic sinus infections. After my first few visits with him, I knew I liked him. Dr.J has been my GI Dr. for over a year now and I must say he is not a regular doctor! He is in my heart a man of heart, soul, spirit, mind, love, and caring! I've been very ill over 3 years with my gut shutting down. I lost 85 lbs due to the inability to eat and get nutrition. I was starving feom malnutrition due to a fungus infection and medication issues. I could barely walk first time I went in to see him. They helped me get in a room immediately. We started a journey together not me alone to guess? He treated me like a sister or real human being with affirmations and logic. I didn't get better at first for a long time. Son was about to give up. I stayed on the probiotic and another supplements had me on. It took months to even be able to take it all. I absolutely love this man , He is angelic and a real investigagator on solving the root cause. He had me watch a movie called "The biggest little farm ". I sought out Dr J on the recommendation of my previous GI when I said I wanted to transition off meds. All previous GIs I’d talked to were completely closed off to the idea, but Dr J not only was willing to help, but specializes in just that. I’m now healing my gut, and whole body and feeling amazing. Dr J explains his protocol and adapts it to accommodate his patients. He takes their goals into account as he works with them to heal their system.

It's very clear that Dr. Julapalli cares about his patients. He does a great job of building a client/practitioner relationship and makes you feel like a partner in your own care. I've been to many gastroenterologists and he has helped me when no one else had any answers to offer me - he has a measured and knowledgeable approach that I so appreciate.

Follow up to treatment for previous treatment. Having renewed pain but very subtle - unlike the last issue. Doctor is very through and answers all my questions carefully and thoughtfully. He takes sincere interest in my conditions and trying his best to be helpful. Great experience! I appreciate him
