Dr Standish is one of my favorite and most respected physicians . I initially went to JW for a hysterectomy and bladder repair. I went home the following morning and became very sick. Turns out I had a Illius and developed a hernia. I had to have emergency surgery. Discharged 6 days later and had another hernia resulting in a second emergency surgery. He saved my life. Throughout my stay Dr Santosh was calm , reassuring and knowledgable. I really enjoyed working with him and his staff.

I couldn't have had a better experience. My recovery from surgery was MUCH quicker than others who have related their experiences with other surgeons. I know this is due to his experience and skill. His bedside manner with me calmed me down and gave me a lot of encouragement. His staff are excellent and gave me all the time I needed with questions I had.

Husband had hernia surgery in March 2018. Dr Santosh was WONDERFUL! Staff great..husband wanted to keep Dr Santosh as his primary physician. Great experience and concerned doctor!

Recently had a robotic laparoscopic gallbladder surgery performed by Dr. Santosh and was extremely pleased by the experience. His professionalism and calming and reassuring words helped to calm my fears and concerns prior to the procedure and during his postoperative visit. This was my first major surgery and I was extremely anxious and he took time to talk with me and I knew I was in great hands. I very highly recommend him and I’m thankful he was my surgeon.

Dr. Santosh is a very caring Dr. and I would recommend him to family and friends. I trust him completely. He is compassionate and really cares about me and my health. He has excellent bedside manner and a good sense of humor.
