Great inpatient care!
People tend to leave online reviews when bad things happen, which is bound to happen in medicine with busy doctors. I'm a doctor myself, and I was visiting my hometown, St. Marys, for the eclipse and had a horrible gall bladder inflammation necrosis episode. The entire St. Mary's Grand Lake Joint Township staff, including Dr. Chalasani, was amazing. The care was professional, compassionate, and empathetic, and I appreciated it. I'm in the DC area, and you think large, fancy hospitals are better than a small community hospital (Joint gets a bad rap), but their compassion and help were much better than some other hospital visits I've had to make in the DC area. Thank you; I am 1000% better, and you probably saved my life.

dropped this doctor.
From day1 I was concerned about this Doctor due to his general attitude toward a patient. Then prescription problems arised due to refills not being called into pharmacy. The staff began what appeared like a rehearsed defensive routine that made me concerned that this was an ongoing issue with this doctor. Imagine what it is like to be without insulin...

Have to wait over an hour just for him to tell you you are fine, he doesn’t even do anything. The nurses mostly do the work. And if your sick he doesn’t let you in unless you have the Covid vaccine. My 3 month old was sick one time and he didn’t let her in!!! Never coming back here they are useless.

Hes great, I like most o FCC the experience except 1 nurse. , she acts more superior and is passive aggressive towards me, as ll the others are great. dont know what I did wrong, but I sense it through the Time I'm there, she needs get some bedside manner s, because they're not soo great!, I don't have that with the other nurses, don't know what her deal is , hoping she Isn't that way to anyone else!

Was there a couple weeks ago with problems with my ears. They flushed them and gave me antibiotics and drops. Did not help problem at all. Still having problems. Guess I will have to spend more time and money and go somewhere else. I was there 2 hours and nothing was done to help my problem.

Absolutely the best doctor I have visited to date! He is not a pill pusher and that’s a positive for me because I do not want to be reliant on medications. He is always kind and attentive.. takes time with you and doesn’t just rush out the door until he makes sure you have no further issues or complaints.

He needs to think outside of the box instead of practicing strictly from the textbook. He is definitely a pill-pusher and refers to specialist when it's not necessary.

Dr. Chalasani seems to have a hard time handling anything beyond a cold. His office staff has recently changed over to a bunch of rude, know it all 20 somethings. He is rarely available for an emergency situation, and will tell you to go to the ER. People with chronic pain are treated like drug seekers, not patients. I am fed up with this practice and am leaving it, as is the rest of my family.
