Dr. Veena Nayak, MD

Dr. Nayak is a Great rheumatologist. She takes her time with me and does not rush my appointment. Dr. Nayak truly listens to my concerns and offers different options for treatment.I feel that Dr. Nayak is a very caring person and I trust her very much.

She really make me feel like my health is her priority and she answers all my questions with professionalism. I won’t ever seek another doctor to treat my condition. Wherever she is I will follow her. My condition has been managed well and I feel very comfortable knowing she will do whatever she can to keep me healthy.

The timeliness of the visit. I was seated for 5 minutes after checking in and the assistant was taking me in a room to be seen.

Dr. Nayak is exemplary as a physician. She is extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk with. She takes all the time necessary to listen to the patient and clearly explains and answers questions regarding tests performed. Her testing process is very thorough before she arrives at any treatment decisions. I would highly recommend Dr. Nayak to anyone.

Dr. Nayak and her staff are wonderful. Dr. Nayak takes her time with you and actually listens to you. You never feel rushed and she explains everything in detail for you so you understand. Kelly, Jill and Heather are all wonderful too. Anything you need they are always there for you.

I was not there long before seeing someone.

I have been seeing Dr. Nayak since I moved to Flossmoor from Chicago 4 years ago. I was nervous about finding a rheumatologist. in the Southland area. I had been with my doctors at Northwestern for 5 years but wanted to find doctors near my new location. Dr. Veena Nayak exceeded my expectations. She was very warm and was genuinely interested in my issues. She did not seemed rushed to get to her next appointment but took time to answer all my questions. She then outlined my rheumatology care

Treated me as a person,took all the time to answer my questions. This was my third doctor. She took her time and finally reassured me that it was my body not my mind. Ever since treatment my life has drastically improved. Her and her team are the best.

The wait times are long .The staff and doctors do not wash their hands entering the room or exiting the room.

I was referred to Dr. Nayak by my family practitioner. I had two appointments with Dr. Nayak, the first was on July 24, 2017, and the follow-up August 9, 2017. I didn't see her either of these times, I saw her nurse practitioners both times. My last appoint on August 9, 2017, was to get some feedback on my test results. Her nurse practitioner explained them best she could, but not efficient enough. My appointment was at 2:30, I saw the nurse practitioner about 3:45. At 4:48, I left because she w

I showed up at 8:45 for a 9:00 a.m. appointment - was still waiting to see her at 9:50 - she wasn't even in. Never took my vitals - never looked me in the eye - told me to continue my meds and see her in 3 months. I told her meds weren't working (was on them for 8 months) she said to keep taking - they need time. The girls at the desk kept making excuses and were RUDE RUDE RUDE. If you can't keep at 9 a.m. appointment - DON'T MAKE THEM. She did absolutely NOTHING but waste my time and money
