Dr. Vasilios Diakonis, MD

Heexamined my eyes but did not discuss any findings of his examination with me other than stating stating "my vision is normal". I use screen reading software, an enlarged monitor and other visual aids. My vision is far from normal. Hemade no attempt to explore or discuss my visual complaints, a list of which I provided his nurse screening me.He did not discuss any diagnosis with me but my records reflect one I've never heard of.It is confusing why he listed a diagnosis after telling me my vision was normal. Was rushed and left the room as quickly as he could. If You want comprehensive care and a physician that listens and addresses your symptoms I'd suggest you pick a practice where the physician has a vested interest in addressing patient concerns at a private practice versus a Dr. Mill.

My visit this morning with Dr. Diakonis was excellent. He took time to re-do some earlier tests whose results he questioned. He carefully but concisely explained the diagnosis and the need for follow-up visits. He is proficient, professional, and respectful of a patient's time and questions.

On time and that is important.

MY VISIT WAS VERY SATISFACTORY. THE ENTIRE STAFF WAS EFFICIENT, VERY PROFESSIONAL YET FRIENDLY AND PERSONABLE. IT WAS THE BEST EYE EXAM I HAVE HAD IN YEARS ALONG WITH EXCELLENT EXPLANATIONS ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING ON.

Dr. D is always welcoming. He’s straight to the point and great at answering questions or concerns you might have.

My office visit was very good. He pinpointed my problem right away and made suggestions, which I followed, having surgery for cataracts, one on 4/1, next on 4/8. The first surgery went well & I look forward to having the second one. Dr. Diakonis is very professional & builds trust.

After having cataract surgery 2 years ago I was experiencing floaters in my left eye. My visit explained why I was having these floaters and put me at ease that my eye sight is good

Dr. Diakonis is is very skilled in his techniques and preforms them with ease and confidence. Extremely knowledgeable, he can easily and simply explain the diagnosis and needed procedures. He is professionally, yet friendly and puts you at ease. It is evident he has a well trained staff. I am glad he is my doctor.

HAVING SOMEONE POKING AROUND YOUR EYE IS NERVE WRACKING. DR DIAKONIS HAS A VERY GENTLE TOUCH AND EXPLAINS WHAT HE IS OR WILL BE DOING TO ME.

He uses his upbeat, positive attitude to place his patients at ease in what they will be going through and that there's a sense that we will solve my condition and I will see clearly again. Went in for corneal cross linking with Dr. D. Everything went very smoothly. Dr. D was very helpful through the process and spent time explaining the procedure as it is fairly new in the US. Staff was great and a special thank you to Rene Mitschang for her tremendous help playing middle man between myself and the insurance company.

Dr Diakonis explains everything offers options and puts patients first. He has a great warm personality and encourages questions. Always with a happy smiling attitude.
