Dr. Varun Rimmalapudi, MD

I have been using Clearway for years. I started off going to Pensacola and was very happy when Clearway opened an extension in Andalusia, where I live. My husband died in 2020 and I have decided to move to Panama City, where my sister lives. I was elated to find out Clearway is also there! I started with back pain pills and shots. As I have aged, my back pain has worsened and Dr. Rimmey and I decided to try the spinal cord stimulation trial. I did it last week. It worked so well that I am getting a permanent stimulator now! Thank you Clearway and Dr. Rimmey for being there! I am looking forward to the future now, feeling good and starting a new life in a new town!

Had an epidural shot in back for severe back pain. Dr Rimmi does so much to relieve our anxiety.

This Dr cares nothing about me, acting like my neck and back where my only issues! Clearly after years of being on my meds. Im obviously responsible. I didn't ask to be permanently injured by the medical establishment. Clearway in MD took wonderful care of me. My doctors in Colorado took care of me (they knew me & cared that I suffer) I guess this guy thinks they didn't monitor me to make sure I was responsible!? And then he insults me by saying "I'm sry I couldn't say what you wanted me to say" Oh yeah Dr Dont Care, this is exactly what I wanted for my life, this is exactly how I imagined it, my everyday in pain! This Dr is so arrogant to thimk that University of Maryland #7 and Colorado #10 in Healthcare knew nothing at all about me!!! While Alabama sits at #45 The Healthcare is awful, and its because they don't even try or really hear/help you! And he thinks I'm going to trust him to do a procedure on me! They shoved my husband and I in the same room, he lied says he can't scribe.

When I first met Dr Rimmy I was pleased with his use of alternative therapies. I did every recommended therapy suggested. These therapies did not change my struggles, only gave relief. Dr Rimmy lies about laws telling me he cannot give one medication while I’m on a different medication at the same time. Says it’s according to FDA or Florida law. Yet, I just had major surgery and took both meds without complications. I’m a retired RN with 35 years in acute care and critical care. So it became about power and about defensive practice, more concerned about someone coming after him than empathy. I did EXACTLY AS TOLD. The last visit, I was treated like the drug seekers I often saw in my career. He told his staff to “get her out of here” because I was harsh to him when he offered “shots” instead. In the end I was treated poorly and didn’t deserve his treatment nor his “shots”. I’m taken care of elsewhere. I realize 20 people behind me want in, I’m disposable for the less knowledgeable pts

I’ve been a patient since 2017. The staff at the Pensacola, Crestview and Fort Walton Beach clinics are awesome. Very professional, accommodating and friendly. I’ve never had issues scheduling or changing appointments and I’m always seen on time, if not early. I by-name request to see Ms. Monique Wyche. She is a wonderful provider and does a thorough exam every time. Outstanding service!

Dr. Rimmalapudi and all of his staff are absolutely phenomenal! As a patient for nearly two years now I can not say enough good things about Dr 'Rimmi'. Everyone is always very caring from Amanda the receptionist in Mary Esther to all of the P.A.s that I have seen including both Monique and Mrs. Deanna Matthews. Dr. 'Rimmi' has gone above and beyond to address my unique needs with pain management and I am most sure that he and his staff will work hard and tirelessly to help you find a solution that works, for you! Everyone goes out of their way to ensure that I am well cared for and that I understand everything that they are doing regarding wellness plan. Any time that I call their office I am always given a human to speak with about my needs in a timely manner. Unlike most Dr. visits I look forward to coming and seeing everyone at Clearway Pain! Dr. Rimmie is about the 5th or 6th Pain Management doctor and he is the only one who told me that the first injection I got that led to only a few hours of relief was good and what he wanted to hear, I got the right vertebra! Then did a second one and same thing, he said great that means I got the right nerve! Then he did the third and final of the bunch. That time he burned the nerve and made pain free for over a year now in my neck! Amazing job and explained it the entire way. Listens to me and learns about me. I even got 7 other family members including my disabled mother in with him! He has changed our lives completely. We are so greatful for him and what and how he treats us!

He is very concerned with the well being of his patients. He listens to your complaints and does everything he can to help you. I'm really glad he is my doctor.

Nice at first, short treatment only if you are looking for chronic pain doctor, do not go to him !! He starts cutting your medicine without notice so you end up miserable !! Run Run !!

Dr. Rimmalapudi is one physician that deserves the honor of being called a doctor. He listens and understands then puts together a plan to manage your pain. If it doesn't work, he try's what he thinks is best until you get to point with him where your pain is actually managed. He's very kind and extremely intelligent, I highly recommend Dr. Rimmalapudi to anyone dealing with chronic pain.

Dr. "Rimmy" is the moodiest physician I have ever encountered in 40+ years of seeing doctors. Or, maybe, he has a "personality disorder" and he too needs to see a doctor. I have been seeing him for more than two years and before each visit I have to wonder what is going to be the mood of Dr. Rimmy. On one visit he will be extremely friendly and the next he is not a happy camper and is very short with me. Which Dr. Rimmy will I be seeing today?

This guy is on his game. Doc Rimmy has done more for me than any Doctor has. He discovered I had cancer which none of my other doctors could figure. Yes he will give you pills for pain to help you while someone figures something out. In which he has figured out more for me than my Neuro, Ortho, and PCM put together. I'm now being treated for my cancer and other areas where I do have chronic pain, we have figured out how to control that too. Extremely Smart Mind. Knows Medicine.
