He was the first doctor in a long list that listened even though I looked fine. I’d lost 30 lbs in three weeks, i could barely get to work and home and I felt like I was dying. He did all the right tests because he listened to my words. Within a week I was being treated for kidney failure from amyloidosis and multiple myeloma.
My PCP told me I was menopausal and overweight for many years. “Not” and I was dying. My kidneys were shutting down.
Five years later I’m still fighting this fight because of really great doctors like Dr. Broumand.

Dr. Bromound is great. Would recommend him to family n friends. But the office personnel is totally opposite. Can not get on the same page with things and they are very rude. I hate coming to this dr because of that but I do come for my visit because the Dr. himself is awesome.

Dr Broumand is great! Takes time to listen and responds to your personal needs. The staff in his office is very cortious and through. Dr takes time to teach about your problems and considers the whole person and not just renal problems.

This is the most patient friendly doctor I have ever met. Dr. Broumand became my Nephrologist when my previous doctor moved on. From day one, he listened to what I had to say and actually heard me. He strongly encourages me to learn all I can about my condition and treatments, and where I get it right, he goes along with MY judgement regarding treatment, and understands my general philosophy regarding Quality of Life issues. Definitely a quality of life advocate, and very smart guy.
