Help For Serious Issues
If you need help from a kind, compassionate, highly qualified doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Manipod. Her advice changed my life around. She doesn't tell you what to do but works with you to better understand and treat the issues you have. Always ready to help and explore any alternative you may suggest. Very qualified. Six stars would be my rating if six were allowed.

Dr. Manipod didn’t make me feel comfortable or welcome. She snapped at me during one of our sessions and admitted that she did. I never got a clear understanding of what was causing my symptoms from her and she canceled appointments on me last minute as well. I felt anxious before our appointments since she was so rude to me. Terrible experience.

I first starting seeing Dr. Manipod in 2018, following hospitalization. She is the most caring doctor I have ever had the pleasure to work with. She cares so much about her patients - she is not only interested in what medications you ought to be taking, but your total wellbeing. When she sadly relocated from Ventura to Fullerton, I was blessed to be able to keep seeing her, even though my medical insurance no longer covered these as she was out of area. She is THAT good. So, although I now have to pay out of my own pocket, I couldn’t be happier to keep her as my psychiatrist. If you need a wonderful psychiatrist, I cannot recommend Dr. Manipod highly enough. You will be in great hands.

Dr. Manipod has been a tremendous blessing in my life. When I first met with her, I was extremely fragile. I was on disability for psych issues and incapable of doing most things. Working wasn’t possible and didn’t feel like it would ever be. Suicidal thoughts plagued me since childhood and resulted in some failed attempts. I was trapped in the darkest and scariest parts of my head. Getting through each day alive was an accomplishment. Leaving the house for any reason was quite often a victory. After bad experiences with other doctors, it was difficult for me to trust a new one, but Dr. Manipod worked so hard to help me. She was more invested in my well-being than I was. She really fought hard for me, so I stayed in the fight in part because I didn’t want to let her down. I still have battles, but thoughts of suicide are gone. I was well enough to throw a 5-year anniversary party for my last suicide attempt. I even got a job and I'm working on my overall health. Thank you Dr. M!!!

I love Dr. Manipod. I started seeing her about 5 years ago but due to a change in my insurance I was unable to see her for a year. I am so happy to be back. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. She listens to my concerns and we decide on the best solution together. She is wonderful and the front office staff is great. I am always to get an appointment that fits my busy schedule. I highly recommend her to all my family and friends.

I waited on the list for over a year to see her. She was nice and friendly. I went to see her because I hated the Bupropion I was on and she was in such a hurry I really couldn’t even tell her my symptoms. She told me to take the Bupropion SR. 300 bucks later, I had to put on a credit card. She said this is only the beginning. For 5 minutes and $300, she whipped out her prescription pad and wrote another prescription for Bupropion! I have been taking nothing since Dec 29. Do not go!

I've been with her for a few years now. She always helps me and listens to my needs. She doesn't hesitate to change things if I feel uncomfortable with something I'm taking and seeing her has truly changed my life for the better.
