Dr. Vanessa Parisi, DO

Dr. Parisi is empathetic, caring, knowledgeable Dr. who at last minute took my case on with conviction and strength, she made me feel safe and secure, went above and beyond to ensure I was well cared for and followed through with professionalism and grace till the end. I am forever great full for her. She is the definition of excellence!

Dr. Parisi is phenomenal! She took care of me in a way that I will never forget in a hurry !Her approach is very gentle, kind, and exuding compassion in every touch. She helped to save me from sudden health crisis and moved mountains to get me comfortable situated during my recent admission at Bassett Medical Center Cooperstown, NY. If its Dr. Parisi you are in good hands and I highly recommend her for your health needs if you are a woman.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Parisi to my family and friends. She made me feel very comfortable during my visit and she took the time to answer any questions I had. She also gave me a few options for a problem I have been experiencing. Her office staff is also very helpful and nice. I had a great experience overall and will continue to see Dr. Parisi in the future.

Dr Parisi is every bit the professional. She is very thorough, and leaves no stone unturned. Dr Parisi, saved my life and I am eternally grateful! Today, while many Doctors are in a very big rush and often times blow you off, not Dr Parisi. She gives you all the time you need and will answer all your questions!

The whole staff os amazing

This was my first visit. The staff was knowledgeable & friendly. The wait wasn’t too long. Even so the Dr apologized as she was a little behind. The Dr was thorough and helpful. Its never easy finding a new gynecologist. Thankfully I am done with my search.

I wanted to rate this 5 stars but just could not... The PRO'S Dr. Parisi is an excellent doctor. She takes her time and you don't feel rushed. She answers questions clearly and in a language that is easily understood. I liked her and her staff. The CON's If you read the other reviews the one negative that is repeated over and over is the endless wait to see the doctor. Time management is not her strong suit. While I like that she takes her time once she sees you, I think she is way overbooked and is just incapable of keeping the wait time to a minimum. I had a 6 pm appointment and didn't see the doctor until almost 8 pm. That is unacceptable and exhausting. While this was my first visit, others in the wait area said this is not unusual. So if you have unlimited time, she's a Great Doctor but know that she just can't keep on schedule and bring a good book.

It is 6 p.m. before I'm through with my appointment that had been scheduled for 2:15 which I arrived for early at 1;50; my husband sat parked waiting for me all this time. I opted to take the stairs down not waiting for the elevator only to have missed my husband who was on the elevator coming up to see what was taking more than 4 hours with my appointment which was to get the results of an imaging previously done. Why wouldn't you check the waiting room for me before calling me or assuming I had left? That logic makes no sense. However, now I've seen other reviews it's habitual that Dr. Parisi has a clear time management issue with scheduled appointments. It's so bad be and now I know why they'd think I left the waiting room when told there'd be a wait. A hard and insulting lesson to have on my second visit to this doctor. If my time isn't of consequence or respected should I be your patient?

This is my first pregnancy - I'm a little older with some prior health issues. Dr. Parisi immediately made me feel comfortable and confident in the care I would receive from her. She was extremely thorough, warm, and reassuring. All my questions and concerns were addressed.

Sometimes you need to wait longer than expected, however Dr. Parisi dose not rush with exam. She listen your concerns and explain everything to you in plain language so you know what to expect. I really like her practice.

She is wonderful profesional ! Sensitive , loved ! I recommend , only is to waiting a long time for attention in your appointment, but , she is very good doctora , I wait for her ! I recommend!

This Doctor does not respect your appointment time! I called twice before I showed up to make sure she was still on schedule! Was told she was. Arrived for my appointment on time. Was put in the examine room 35 minutes after my appointment time. Sat naked for another 30 minutes before the doctor showed up. One hour after my appointment time. I got dressed and did not allow the examine to happen! Don’t expect to be seen on time! It is an all day process!

It took 1.5 hours for a routine visit including a Pap smear. Appointments were running behind, i sat naked in the exam room for about 45 mins before she came to see me. She walked in without a mask and was only with me for 10 mins. I will not be returning ever.

From beginning to end staff was helpful, informative and friendly. I would highly recommend Hackensack University Mountainside anytime! I also felt very safe in terms of their prevention policies in place. Hand sanitizers were placed in readily available areas of the facility, identity was checked over and over again to prevent wrong information. All in all I give this place and its employees five stars.

Doctor Parisi make me comfortable and take care all the issue that’s we talk about.

Dr. Parisi and staff are always nice to me, she takes her time to listen to me, as well as the staff and lets me know what’s best for me.

I have never met a doctor as compassionate and friendly as Dr. Parisi. She has a great bedside manner and truly cares about her patients on a different level. She doesn't just treat you like another patient, but treats you like a human being and is so down-to-earch. Dr. Parisi went above and beyond to make sure she delivered my first baby, even though she wasn't on-call. I can't thank her enough for her patience during my delivery and even her help in dealing with everything that comes after giving birth. I highly recommend her if you're looking for an OB or GYN.

Great doctor and very personable! Only complaint is that visits take very long, and reception takes long to get back to the patient with pending paperwork/emails.
