Easy to talk with
Very engaging. Made it easy to talk about things. I forgot to ask a question so I called back. She did call me back and answered my question.

Great Experience
Dr Canas delivered my first baby beautifully and easily. She explained everything she was doing and talked through an action plan when deciding whether or not to induce labor. She provided great care and eased my anxieties around birth. I always felt like I was in great hands. I hope to have Dr Canas deliver again!

Very Compassionate Dr!
I recently had a procedure done with Dr Canas. I was a bit anxious and she completely put me at ease. Took time to explain everything that was being done. She was very empathetic and comforting. I am new to the practice and will continue seeing her!

Worst labor and delivery experience EVER!
If you find out this woman will be delivering your baby, DEMAND for another doctor. Worst bedside manner in the world. Sent me home 2 times knowing it was my second baby and I was already 4 cm dilated. Second time sent home I went from 4-10 cm on the 20 min drive home. Almost had the baby in the car and dad missed the birth because of this constant back and forth. So, obviously couldn’t get my epidural even though I told them that was my main concern. She proceeds to tell me, in front of my mother, “if you keep kicking me we won’t be having any baby at all.” I’ve been mentally unwell ever since and this was a year ago. Very sad bc my son was born at the same hospital, delivered by Cadjeux (spelling?) and it was an amazing experience. Canas seems to have no bedside manner or any care in the world for her patients. Didn’t even see her after the birth, but the midwife came to check on me instead. This woman should not be delivering babies.

Terrible experience. Tried to break my water when I was positive for strep without giving antibiotics. No bedside manner and I felt alone. Worst labor experience.
