Not So Great Results
Telehealth
I was referred to Dr. Takyi by my primary physician for varicose veins in my left lower leg, which were unsightly and uncomfortable. Dr. Takyi met me and was personable and knowledgeable. She assure me I would be happy with the results. On the day of the procedure things were rushed and she was busy not only with me but also teaching a newer doctor. There was one point in the procedure I was in extreme pain in one spot of my leg. She stopped and gave me additional anesthetic, and carried on. There was no conversation at the end. She rushed out and left any questions to the staff. I followed the instructions for self care and even exceeded the requirements, but I was in a lot of pain for two months, which is twice as long as they said it might be - at its worst. Upon my follow up, the aesthetic of my leg was unchanged. The 'teaching' doctor saw me and suggested another procedure. Heck no. I endured all that and now have numbness AND a bill for $1500 out of pocket?! ... FOR WHAT? PASS!
