Great experience
I had an IUD inserted with Dr. Ginsburg and it was a great experience all the way through. The front desk staff was lovely, and Dr. Ginsburg was on time, professional, and friendly. We were joking around and making pleasant conversation the entire time. I was frankly very worried based on her reviews on here - but my experience couldn't have been further from a 1-star experience. A procedure that is usually SUPER traumatic for me was much easier to navigate with Dr. Ginsburg. I will absolutely be going back to see her for other OB/GYN needs.

My daughter's experience was horrible.
Just spoke to my daughter about her first visit with this practitioner and she could not have been more dissappointed. Communication was the major issue and even though she has two ears I think, Ginsburg did not listen at all. My daughter is mid-twenties and in a graduate program at Mines so she is intelligent and communicative. Unfortunately, Ginsburg was not. We will file a complaint with the Board of Medical Examiners if we are able. Truly a bad experience for a person who was searching for some answers to difficult issues with her birth control.

Worst Appointment experience
I came to see Dr Valerie after feeling unheard at Denver Health. I had high hopes until she entered the room and I barely got a “Hello”. She made me feel stupid for being there and not completing my pre checkin info. As I was explaining my struggles she continuously dismissed and invalidated my thoughts and feelings WITHOUT following up with any questions as to why I thought or felt that. I was breaking down in tears halfway through my appointment and I didn’t even have her do what I came in for because I didn’t want her to touch me. She stared at me as i cried and told her how unheard I felt previously and continued to make that experience for me again. I left knowing less than I did when I went in. I’ve never felt so down after a doctors appointment. Thankfully I saw some other negative reviews and felt comfort in knowing I’m not alone and it wasn’t just me. Save yourself from the pain and do NOT see her.

Wonderful staff and experiences. I have been going to her for over a year she is kind and so is her staff. She makes accommodations to make me more comfortable (letting my husband accompany me) and is very personable. She answers all questions and gives me through information. Even if she was out of network worth the cost in my opinion.

Worst OBGYN I've ever had in my life. Super rude, the blood work done by staff was horrible. They couldn't find my vein and had to be poked numerous times until they got it right. Valerie was extremely rude and so I finally moved back to my home state and needed my records released to my new Dr and she was super rude on the phone and super snobby with me over it. She never once made me feel comfortable in her office. The only upside would be the sweet upfront staff and the office was super clean. Other than that, think twice if you are the type with questions or are nervous.. she isn't very helpful, actually she tries to be intimidating.. sorry for the review but I never felt so bad in a Dr's office, I mean, come on!

Awful. On the spectrum of "Compassionate Medical Care" versus "I am going to file a Restraining Order if you don't stop bothering me with questions, you imbecile" she was definitely solidly in the latter. With her bedside manner she should only be a coroner. She gets one star only because zero stars wasn't an option. Her staff was great, but it doesn't make up for her callousness and contemptuousness.

I personally would not recommend Dr. Ginsberg. The staff and location are marvelous, but Dr. Ginsberg has an incredibly brusque and impolite bedside manner. When I mentioned concerns about fertility and anxiety over it, she lambasted me over it and dismissed my own personally anxiety as though it were nothing. I felt incredibly disrespected, and will not be returning to this office.

I don’t feel my visit was worth the copay. The doctor seemed to have her mind made up about what my issue was, and once that was solved there was nothing else to do. No mention of any type of disorders or other issues that it could be. Pretty much it’s this and if it’s not it can’t be anything else gynecologically, which is absurd. I ended up getting referred to another OBGYN by my PCP as she was adamant I needed further evaluation. Bedside manner isn’t the best either. I was uncomfortable and felt unheard the entire time. I don’t recommend this provider.

It is with great regret that I need to write this review of Dr. Valerie Ginsburg's office. I went in for a simple IUD insertion and left with a trip to the hospital's Emergency Room and an IUD lost inside me. Her bedside manner was defensive, hostile, and demeaning- especially when she knew she made a mistake. The scariest part of my entire experience with Dr. Ginsburg was when she used a long metal rod with a hook on the end BLINDLY searching for the IUD inside of me without the use of an ultrasound. This was completely unnecessary, as I later found out when I visited Midtown OBGYN for a second opinion. When I brought up the added cost of my visit, she was impatient and frustrated that I cared about how much I should expect to pay- she did not care about my out of pocket expenses when originally the cost was covered by insurance. I now have hundreds in medical expenses to pay as well as more in the future because of her lack of expertise. She is a nightmare.

Came here after trying a few different places that couldn’t help/find out what problems I was having. The first time coming in it was very rushed and was there for only 15 minutes total. When she tested me I could barely get any questions out and when I could they were answered very vaguely. Felt very scared and worried about my health but, I left hoping they would prescribe me what I needed. Got my results, went through my treatment...... but still nothing got better. Sadly went in the second time hoping I could force some answers out this time... but again was a very short meeting. I went through a second round of pills a few weeks after getting tested again, but still nothing changed. I called them asking what I was supposed to do next? She pretty much said she can’t do much more for me and maybe can send me off somewhere else that’s hard to get into. I’m just really sad that I came here hoping to get better and left feeling like crap. 10/10 Recommend not going.

I adamantly do not recommend Dr. Ginsburg. She entered the room saying, "I'm confused, why are you here if you saw someone else." Without a hello. She was angry with me for consulting another practitioner while moving. I was there for an IUD removal due to severe breast pain, and her frustrations with me were apparent. She RIPPED out my IUD without telling me anything she was doing before touching me and starting to insert tools. I know she removed it much too quickly because she caused me a sharp pain, and having had this procedure done before, painlessly, and working in the field, I know this was wrong. She proceeded to negate my pain and tell me that my symptoms were not unique or due to my birth control, totally brushing me off and refusing to hear my complaints. I could not get out of there fast enough. I now feel much better, and I know my symptoms have been relieved by lack of birth control. I will never return to this office. I adamantly do not recommend Dr. Ginsburg.

I just visited Dr.Ginsberg for the first time at 16 weeks due to relocating to the area. I couldn’t in my wildest nightmares imagine such an awful experience. I was worried about bleeding that I have never experienced before with prior pregnancies and was basically told that at 16 weeks she wouldn’t be able to do anything anyway. No checks or exams were done, I did not get the cervical length ultrasound that my previous OB had wanted due to previous preterm labor, she had absolutely zero encou

I have been seeing Dr. Ginsburg since 2015 and just recently gave birth in April, where she delivered my daughter via emergency cesarean. She was very professional and answered any and all questions of mine very detailed, even the dumb ones. She was extremely sincere after I labored for 30 hours just to get a c-section and made the whole process less scary than what I made it out to be. My incision scar is next to nothing. I will miss going to her office and seeing her staff. Highly recommend.

I struggled making this post, but my health is far more important than her rating. When another doctor says he wouldn't hire her at his practice speaks volumes. Aside from her bad tableside manner, she has NO cultural competency. She advised me to do nothing about my menstrual pain and blamed it on my age.....I am 37 years old. Long story short, I am having a hysterectomy 9 months after my visit with her. Her office and her need to get go back to school to get customer service 101.

I would give Zero stars if possible. Dr. Ginsburg's bedside manner was terrible. She was constantly speaking downt to me at a very vulnerable and scared point and she offered me nothing but ridicule and a negative attitude. I left her office in tears and with more questions than i had originally walked in with. after leaving her clinic i went straight to a real family practice and was treated like a woman respectfully and got the tests i needed done. absolutely do NOT recommend her at all!

I never felt heard nor understood as a patient of Dr. Ginsburg. I think I did more research on treatments than she did. At one appointment I asked her to remove my IUD because I didn't like the side-effects. She told me that I was wrong about how I was feeling and the IUD didn't give those side-effects. I was better once it was out. I went to a new doctor and they found the true root of the problem which was not even close to what Dr. Ginsburg was telling me. Wasted time, money, and emotions.

I switched practices at 36 weeks into my pregnancy. Frankly, I did not feel supported or nurtured and found that very little information regarding my pregnancy was shared with me, which was concerning. Instead, I'd be handed pamphlets and be provided with brief explanations. I found her bedside manner to be short and even rude at times and never felt like she took the time to get to know me, as a patient. I liked her staff, but the turn over rate seemed high, which was a red flag for me too.
