Dr. Vaishnavi Parnerkar, MD

Saw her a few months ago, seemed to not know that I had already been diagnosed with PCOS, even though it's the third time I've seen her. Said she was going to order labs but didn't. Will not return, would not recommend.

Dr Parnekar was so inattentive and showed no concerns or interest in figuring out the problems. 1st appointment she was a no show and no one informed me until after 1.5 hours after I had been waiting. Rescheduled 2 days later and there was many time options. This time I was called about an hour before and had to reschedule again. Next reschedule (a week later) she was like she didn't want to participate. Didn't answer questions and no confidence in her ability. Still waiting for notification of any labs to get done and 1st available follow-up appointment was more than 2 months out. REALLY. What a joke!

I am very disappointed in Dr Parnerkars care since I have become pregnant. She is not attentive to how I am feeling and seems to just shove me off. I have simply been asking for an explanation as to what her care plan is for me during this time; she cannot seem to answer that question and I have asked at least 3 times. I am assuming she must not have much experience handling pregnancy thyroid care. I would definitely go elsewhere for your thyroid care in general.

Don't waste your time or money. Very dismissive of extensive symptoms and family history and not willing to investigate to figure out what could be causing symptoms despite 'normal' test results. Seemed to lack any amount of medical or common sense knowledge.

Dr. Parnerkar was very dismissive of me and my on-going symptoms. She is not personable and is was outright rude. Her lack of knowledge in women's health was alarminng, as was her recommendation for treatment. Thank goodness I myself have a medical background and knew otherwise. I will not be going back to Dr. Parnerkar and have since found an endocrinologist who actually knows what they're doing.

I saw Dr. Parnerkar after my thyroid surgery when I discovered I had cancer in my thyroid, parathyroid, and some lymph nodes; thus needed to have iodine radiation. I was given no guidance or information to prepare me for this procedure other than research the web. I had no support, blood work was not ordered at the hospital for the procedure, etc. I was totally on my own. Lucky I worked for a radiologist group that helped me through the process. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
