Not a good listener
Dr Shah did not really listen to what I was trying to tell him. I don't feel like he is a good fit for my Mom. I am going to find a doctor that will listen to what we have to say and not just shrug his shoulders.

ODE TO KNIGHT
Both my husband and I have seen Dr. Shah for a couple of years now. We find Dr. Shah to be an awesome doctor. I cannot say the same for many members of his office staff, especially the front desk. The usual courtesies extended to a patient (client) are missing. An aggressive attitude prevails. We experienced it from the office lead directly. Today, he (the office lead) refused to take responsibility for lack of follow through. We paid in advance as directed for an appointment that had to be suspended before it began due to lack of preparation on the part of Knight Neurology. Dr. Shah is being rendered a disservice on account of this "Berlin Wall" of an office staff . And did I mention the jarring music when on hold? Or the strident welcome on phone tree? A neurology office should have calming strategies not nerve rattling responses such as we have experienced. Dr. Shah's office staff could use some serious coaching in customer relations for starters. His practice deserves better.

After reading the reviews of Dr. Shah's lack of patience and general poor attitude toward his patients I hesitated about seeing him although my primary care doctor referred me to him. Fortunately his office staff made the decision for me. They canceled my appointment, insisting that I had not called to confirm my appointment even though I most assuredly had. Perhaps they need to check their answering machine as it is nearly impossible to get a live person on the phone there. It's for the best.

I have absolutely nothing but the highest regard for Dr. Shah. I found him very congenial, genuine, has a sense of humor, and extremely knowledgeable. His ability to diagnose me was not only spot on, but he has the ability to decipher multiple tests, scans, and bloodwork. He will now become MY neurologist and I am blessed to have found him!

Great doctors at this practice. Caring, attentive, and compassionate! They managed by sister's complex condition in the hospital and then followed up with her in the office. Office staff is very organized. I highly recommend!

If you are looking for a Dr. that will go above and beyond for your health and well-being, I won't recommend you Dr. Shah. I spent a year going to this office with multiple symptoms that he never give me an understanding explanation or send me to do labs or xrays or MRI. He just based his opinion on my old records that I brought from my previous Dr. in Maryland from 3 years ago. I think for a migraine would be ok.

The office staff, Danielle specifically, absolutely ruins it! She's rude, abrasive, very poor people skills in the office and on the phone. and is difficult to deal with. I decided to speak to Dr. Shah, to voice my concern. He asked me to name the person then called her into the room and asked her in front of me if this was true. OMG! He is young and has no clue. The entire experience was awful. Be sure to do your research before seeing him. I wish I had!!

Shah delighted in being combative, NO compassion; The stars are for the staff who was polite and efficient. Wait time is ridiculous. In for second opinion, left without answers. Never once looked at my films. A true professional learns to understand their patients. I'm older & educated and I made the mistake of using a medical term and he chastised me! Typical millennial with education & no people skills. Full of himself.

I saw Dr. Shah once during my hospital stay for about 15 minutes. He was very impatient and arrogant. I was asking him questions about a procedure he want me to have when he walked out of my room saying that I was wasting his time and he had four other patients. Never have I met such.

I googled for Dr. Shah's first name when saw some reviews that must have been for another Dr.! I've been a Pt. 1 yr. My medical situation has led me to dozens of Dr.s in Oregon, Michigan and here. I was referred for a nerve conductivity test, all of which was thoroughly explained. In the process he recognized symptoms of Parkinson's-a condition diagnosed w/early symptoms years ago. Now treated properly, life is so improved! Don't miss this friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate Doctor!

I was a patient of Doctor Shah and have seen him for two issues. First for pain associated with my back, then there after for post-stroke care. Primarily for severe headaches I experienced after my stroke. I can only summerize that he is a doctor that lacks compassion and the ability to listen. He has a god complex and was not able to treat my headaches nor willing to provide me with a referral. He is the one most horrible experiences with a medical professional in my 55 years of life.
