great doctor
She is straight forward, down to the point professional. She didn't spent time on empty cheap talk but rather immediately focused on the issues with my health. I respect that a lot. I am happy to be treated by such high level of professionalism.

The Reviews are Wrong!
First meeting with Dr Shafqat. Spent over an hour with me. Reviewed my medical history. Taught me a few things I didn’t know re how and when to take certain meds. Told me two of my meds cancelled out each other. Took one away. Very personable and professional. Excellent Dr!

Dr know it all
She has a know it all attitude even after her diagnosis was wrong and ended up being life threatening once being diagnosed by a real doctor. Had we listened to her, this would have turned out badly.

No bedside manner
It’s extremely unfortunate to see the lack of decorum with this doctor. I felt shamed for being prediabetic. She pointed to my “dark and thick neck” and said she could tell I’m insulin resistant without even needing to look at blood work. There’s a way to speak to patients and this doctor does not know how in the slightest. I spent the rest of the day feeling shamed and embarrassed for how I look. You can’t shame patients into changing their lifestyle. Doctors should be encouraging and kind and this doctor is not. She was interested in completing her notes and leaving. Please find another doctor and save yourself the stress and hurt.

Dr.shafqat is terrible. I waited a month to see her to only briefly speak with me and to criticize me for my life choices. She told me I have an auto-immune disease, but not which one. She also suggested my auto immune symptoms were caused by my use of marijuana and suggested it’s why my appetite is curved (yet marijuana is used to increase appetite in cancer patients). She suggested returning when my weight loss was a problem, which I responded with “it is now.” She ignored it and sent me out.

My experince was poor! As a new patient she did not review my extensive medical history and current illnesses and critized me. She was referred to me since my excellent endo in same group retired. I was never notifed of my medical blood work. When she stated she will not u/s my slow growing but significant 2.7com by 2cm thyroid nodule that had not been checked in a couple of years. She ingnored that I told her my digestive track was damaged by cdiff. I will not go back to her.

I was a new patient after my Endo's practice closed. Dr. Shafqat said she reviews all info before seeing each patient (inc. my latest ultrasound). She said my thyroid nodules were stable & to make an appt. for 1 yr. with HER doing an u-sound. At the next appt. she said she wanted a biopsy, based on the PREVIOUS u-sound. After discussion, she sent me SOMEPLACE ELSE for the u-sound. I called twice for the results & when she called, she said conflicting things about the results. I will not go back.

I really liked Dr Shafqat, she was compassionate, listened, when another doctor got the wrong numbers on my bone density. She called me immediately to stop the medication prescribed. I have great respect for this doctor. I am taking my son to see her because I trust her as a woman, who understood my need. I think she will bring a more understanding tone to my sons. So many endocrine physicians only go according to the baseline of numbers and not the needs of the patient, she is not the norm. A+

Dr. Shafqat seems to always be running behind on appointments. I usually have to wait 30 minutes or longer to see her. However, she is very friendly and approachable. She discusses my condition with me in detail and spends time answering my questions. I forgive the longer than usual wait times because I know she spends time with each patient being incredibly thorough.

My first visit w/ Dr. Shafqat. I was very happy with the time she took to gather all the info. to see what would be the first steps to start figuring out my diagnosis. She was very kind & pleasant. The only thing I felt was she isnt really into holistic healing, such as herbs or natural supplement, because it can mask the real issue. But that is ok. Everyone is entitled to feel different about this. I hope that I continue to get the best care possible in the future visits.

Dr. Shafqat spent considerable amount of time with me on my first visit. She reviewed my issues, asked pertinent questions and was able to begin treating me. She is also researching other issues with my Oncologist to further assist in my treatments. Excellent beginning.

I was very disappointed in this doctor. She seemed annoyed when questions were asked, doesn't have a progressive perspective and is not open to discuss other aspects of the body. Her bedside manner had a lot to be desired and when a doctor tells a patient to get used to not feeling well, It is definitely a goods sign to move on to another physician that cares also about their patience will and desire to improve their health, instead of discouraging them.

Dr. Shafqat is a nice lady but worst endo I have seen. I switched over and visiting my new endo today. Blood work results not delivered in a timely manner, no reason a patient should always have to follow up for their results especially during a pregnancy. Office staff always seem clueless and do not check you out appropriately. They don't book your next appointment even though Dr. Shafqat tells you in the room her staff is booking a scan and calling in new medication

They gave me an appointment for 5 and left Addy 430. I'm type 1 diabetic who had a kidney transplant. Wouldn't be that bad if they hadn't called me to confirm the night before, and asked if i could go in early and said nothing about LEAVING EARLY THEN. doctor is wonderful, whoever handles the appointments us horrible. Oh to top it off they didn't call to let me know they were leaving early
