Dr. Uzay Yasar, MD

Before the procedure, although having done same before, Dr. Yazar greeted me, then reassured me of the process. The work was done as smoothly as possible, and his positive observation was immediate, allaying any fears.

It took a long time to get into the office Dr Yasar was in surgery for my first appointment in June so it was delayed until mid-Sept. Fortunately my symptoms subsided due to medication so my visit turned into a good consultation. I know my options for the future and will come back if I need to

Dr Yasar was very nice and professional he listened to all my needs and scheduled me for what he thought was best. He also was very informative to me and my family. Although it was a little difficult to get into see him they were able to schedule me as quick as possible. I would highly recommend dr yasar to anyone in need of a urologist.

I had reservations the first time I saw him. Had HMO so was stuck. Continued to see him though, monitoring PSA numbers. After a year, agreed to a biopsy. Waited 2 weeks to get scheduled. Why? Short handed staff, schedule a mess. Got appointment for two months out. Day before procedure, was called by staff and told Dr. was out of the office, need to reschedule. Rescheduled procedure out another 2 months! Not happy. 1 month later, was called again and voicemail left saying Dr. was out of the office again and need rescheduling. I called back the next day and was told someone would call me to reschedule. Almost a month later, voicemail left with new appointment date for the next week. By that time, I already found a new doctor, with outstanding ratings in a different city who would see me in a few weeks. Called and cancelled Dr. Yasar's appointment. I understand 1 reschedule, but to get blown off twice, and no call back for weeks, unacceptable. I don't recommend this doctor.

Was great i was real nervous but made comfortable

Dr. Yasar was very professional, personable, and has the best interest for his patients. Thoroughly explained procedures, diagnosis, and treatment options. His staff was of the highest quality for professionalism, teamwork, and explaining every clinical procedure .

Horrible experiences and will never go back. I was canceled twice and both times was at the office. Second time in the prep room waiting for my procedure

I met with Dr Yasar to discuss surgery to remove my left kidney because of cancer. Dr Yasar explained everything in detail and put me at ease. I appreciated his professionalism and his willingness to spend extra time with me because I was stressed.

First visit with Dr. Yasar went well. He seemed knowledgeable and supportive of my plan. It was a little strange that my paper med record didn't have anything about my September visit with a radiation oncologist. Dr. said it might be in my electronic record but hadn't been printed.

I took my father for his annual check up. He had his prostate and bladder removed about 5 years ago. Dr. Usay Yasar has been very welcoming when we have visited him. He listenen to what we had to say and was very thorough and friendly. The office staff seems like they are familiar with many of the patients since they greet them by their name even if they are not the receptionist. Dr. Yasar seens very knowledgeable and makes his patients feel confortable and at ease.

The doctor is fine, pleasant, seemed knowledgeable, it's because of the staff in some cases. However, only saw him once because the doctor told us to come back in 30 days after trying the medication. When we called to make that appointment we got told they needed to check with the nurse first??? That's odd. Then after she got on the phone, she acted like we weren't telling the truth, that she would have to check on it. We got grilled and we were left with the feeling that we weren't going to be allowed to make the appointment. Never heard back from her. We just gave up. wasn't going to beg. Never saw him again. Stanislaus county has need for more urologists. The good ones are overburdened apparently, enough so the staff seems to feel the need to stand in the way of their seeing their patients.

I just had my yearly check-up for kidney cancer. Once again, I was impressed with Dr. Yasar’s professionalism combined with friendliness. He and his office offer patients a positive experience and his expertise is unmatched. I highly recommend Dr. Yasar.
