DO NOT GO TO HER
Dr.Shah showed her true colors towards the middle of my pregnancy. She was rude, cold, disconnected, rushed, and inconvenienced by questions I had. She also was very rude to my mother and husband. She did anything but make me feel like I was a valued patient with concerns about my own body or take the time to thoughtfully explain details to me. She also tried to induce me 3 weeks before my due date even though my pregnancy was perfectly fine and I told her no she yelled at me and said no hospital would take me if I went into labor on my own at home. Which I in fact did go into labor naturally and the hospital did take me! I was perfect and dilating amazingly until she ordered an emergency c-section because she was going on VACATION!!!! I DO NOT recommend her! . By far the worst experience and traumatic.

Avoid This Doctor
Dr. Shah initially presented as helpful and thorough. After further appointments, she revealed herself as impersonal, cold, disconnected, rushed, and inconvenienced by questions of any kind. Witnessing your healthcare professional become visibly and audibly annoyed by your questions was disrespect and incredibly uncomfortable. She did anything by make me feel like I was a valued patient with concerns about my own body or take the time to thoughtfully explain details to me. I DO NOT recommend her to anyone and have heard similar grievances from others treated within this group. By far the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor.

Useless
If you don’t know something, then your organisation should provide somebody else more competent, who can resolve the problem….I don’t want to describe whole story, but this lady is always trying to come up with new conditions under which everything will be fine, at first she said after 2 weeks the pain will pass, then after 4 then after 6, I think the pain will continue until you change the doctor

I was crying in her office and upset after having had cancer before. She did not seem to care, and due to insurance, I needed to make a separate appt or see my oncologist. I was okay with that; I was NOT okay with her insensitivity. Def will not see her again. After we discussed her refusing to do the biopsy (I had done before there), she was short with her words and told me to lay down so we can do the exam as I cried...

Dr. Shah is such a caring and compassionate physician. She is a great listener and went the extra mile to make sure all of my needs and concerns were addressed. As I began to experience pregnancy complications, Dr. Shah made me feel safe and walked with me through every step of my journey. My son arrived to this world healthy, term, and guided by hands that were genuinely excited to meet him. If I decide to get pregnant again, I know that Dr. Shah and her team will take excellent care of me and my LO!

Dr. Shah refused to prescribe lovenox to me which my fertility doctor prescribed me for low protein S, positive anticardiolipin antibody and multiple miscarriages. I totally understand if she doesn't feel comfortable with this medicine. However, she changed her mind at the last moment and decided to prescribe me lovenox for 30 days but she needs to document that it is against medical advise. My husband and me don't understand what makes her change mind, but that doesn't matter to us at all. After two days when I went to pick up medicine, I was told doctor called them and changed the prescription from 30 days to 7 days. I cannot believe she is a board certified doctor and she is so emotional and sensitive. I consulted my doctor friend and also an attorney, both told me that it is not appropriate to change prescription when she already honored it. She tried to put more pressure on a pregnancy woman and caused mental distress to me.

My 4th pregnancy I decided to change doctors after my third baby was stillborn at 39 weeks and my doctor at that time told me "things like this happen". I found Dr. Shah and the only thing I regret is not finding her sooner. Dr. Shah was and is everything a pregnant woman would ask for. During my appointments she never left me in the blind and if there was anything I did not learn in my previous pregnancies she made me knowledgeable. Her communication skills are wonderful. She is Heaven Sent!
